"Personally?" He paused, watching her face fill with anticipation. It was killing her to know the answer. But everyone knew the answer. "After decades and years of seeing Angela test new people.. get into more and more relations.. I've never seen her look at someone like she looks at you"
It even pained him to say so, having love for her still. But everyone seen it. It was undeniable.
Fareeha felt a little better, but couldn't shake all this new tension. What if Angela got sick of her? She would dispose of her like everyone else and soon would have a new. She didn't know if she could handle that.
"I need to go for a walk" Fareeha set the water down, but was quickly stopped by Gabriel.
"You think it's a good idea to just wander around out there?" He questioned, holding tightly to her arm. "He's waiting for your slip up. He's ready to take you out.."
"I'll be fine on my own" She drew away from him, "Don't worry about it"
He wasn't going to argue with her. He scoffed and headed back to his room. If anything happened to her, it wasn't his problem.

"Do you think he's going to kill that girl, Jack?" The withered voice called over to the man. The woman had been resting on a tree stump, cleaning her gun as the man watched the area. He was scoping the area, taking in careful detail of everything with his weary eyes. He was growing old, as the woman was. Angela wouldn't like the sound of that. But he knew she would do everything in her power to keep them younger, more full of life.
"Angela won't allow it.." He mumbled, looking back at her. "That girl? Why do you address her as that?"
The woman gave a confused look, but it was shielded by her mask. "Should I know who she is?"
His stomach did a flop, but he shook his head in response. "No.. you shouldn't." But in reality, she should. She should know her own daughter.
"I want to meet her" The woman mumbled, "Everyone says she is beautiful. Angela goes on and on about her. She says she wants to marry her"
"We all know Angela will get tired of her" He grumbled, shaking his head. He had such hate for any new servant that entered that house. He was one of Angela's firsts. It wasn't fair. None of this was. He wanted Angela for himself, he didn't care if he sounded selfish.
"Are you sure about that, Jack?" Ana questioned whimsically, a small smirk appearing. "She's gone through extra heights for this one"
It hurt him to know she had no clue. But Angela would never forgive him if she found out he'd told her, so he shook his head, not even replying.
"Jack! Look up there!" The elderly ghoul pointed up at the sky above them, a floating figure hovered barely visible in the air.
"What the hell is that?" He replied, squinting his eyes, as weary and old as they were. He couldn't make it out, but it was coming closer to them. Quickly.
"Get down!" He bolted forward and tackled Ana to the ground. She looked up surprised, with a bit of blush dusting her wrinkled cheeks. Her mask fell off to the side and her hood fell down as well.
But it was nothing to fear. As overdramatic as he acted, it was only Fareeha. He quickly realized she couldn't see the woman. He stood, not bothering to help the woman up but merely guarding her.
"Hello there, Jack. What are you doing out here?" The Amari smiled, taking her helmet off to shake her beaded hair. He was acting strange and she couldn't understand why. She noticed a woman behind him, struggling to sit up and breathing softly. Her hair..
"I could ask you the same thing. Do you think Angela would approve of you being out here by yourself?" He crosses his arms, standing firmly in front of her. His figure is strong and unbreakable. She knows she cannot get past him.
"Who is that woman?" She wanted to know, especially on why she was on the ground. She hoped he wasn't hurting her.
"Don't worry about it" But the woman was already standing and pushing her way past the so called guard. She brushed her pants off and looked up at Fareeha.
"Well hello there" She smiled, giving a warm laugh and holding her gun at her hip. "So you must be Angela's lover"
Fareeha's heart raced, this woman was her mother. Tears filled her glossy eyes as she rushed forward and grabbed the small woman into her arms, nearly squeezing the life out of her.
"Mama.." She cried, her rough exterior melting, along with the woman in her arms. But it was quickly put to an end as she felt herself hit the ground. How sleepy she felt..
"Madha..." The woman's voice faded in and out, looking over top of the girl. Her mother had sleep darted her.. "Why did she do that to me?"
"I don't know. Strange" Jack said bitterly, joining the woman to look at her.
"Mama...?" Fareeha cries out, her vision blurring in out. She managed to see the woman's confused face before the whole world became black to her.
"What a silly girl... I don't have any children.."
Why did her own mother not remember her?
