"Hi! My name's Maura, are you also going on an adventure?" Those were the first words you said to me and the beginning of our 14 year long friendship.
I knew since the day that I met you, I wouldn't be bored as long as you were there. What I didn't know was hoe much of a void there would be without you.
You changed the life of those around you. You brought smiles, comfort, peace. When you were down the world seemed to pull itself together to help you smile again. When you hurt the world longed to ease your pain.
I know I won't see you again, at least, not in this lifetime. You were my best friend and life partner. I miss your presence, but I know even if just a little you're here inside my heart and my memories.
