Chapter 1

Kate's POV

It's day one of my new life. I threw the past behind my back never having to look back. I wanted to start a whole new story, My story. And here I am my bags packed and ready to go.
It's the first day of college...
From now on I'll be living on my own, solving my own problems. I was a little scared after what happened to me but I was more excited to meet new people and try getting away from everything.

"Breakfast's ready Kaate!" Mum shouted from downstairs
"Comiiing" I answered

Moments later I went downstairs carrying my bags and started placing them in the car.
And then got in for breakfast

Having had my breakfast...

"Oh dear look how grown up you aree I'm gonna miss you so much" Mum said whispering, her eyes full of tears
"I'm gonna miss you too mum" I said hugging her tight
"Take care of yourself, okay?" she said walking me to the door
"Of course mum" I said smiling at her, dad was waiting in the car to drive me to College
"Mornin daddy" I said
"Good morning sweetie, ready to go??" he asked me
"Yup, absolutely ready!" I said excitedly

I got in the car and then Dad started driving.

College Here I come!

I can't wait to make friends...learn new stuff, It's gonna be a whole new beginning for me after everything I went through. I'm relieved this nightmare is finally over

We were there right in front of my college
I dragged my bags out of the car
"Bye daddy I'm gonna miss you so much" I said hugging him tightly
"Bye sweetie hope you be happy, study well..I'm gonna miss you more" he said hugging me back

I got in dragging my bags after me. I got the key of my dorm and My schedule from the front desk.

I stood in front of my dorm taking a deep breath...I opened the door slowly revealing a well made bed, a nice desk, a table with four chairs, a wardrobe and a TV. It was pretty nice actually.
I stepped in and placed my bags on the bed as I started unpacking my clothes, my books on the shelves and packed the books for my first lecture and left the dorm.

It's still an hour before my first class but I wanted to go have a look around and try making some friends.

I walked through the garden where I found students mingling

I noticed two girls standing alone by the corner, they seemed nice...maybe we can be friends...

I walked towards them and decided to get to know them

"Hi, I'm Kate " I said smiling widely
"Hey Kate, I'm Eleanor and this is Megan" the one with brown hair and wide brown eyes said smiling back
"I'm new here" I asked
"We are too " they answered
"It's so Nice to meet you" I said happily waiting for an answer
"Thank you, nice to meet you too" Megan said
"It's time for my first lecture, What's your first lecture today?" I asked them
"We have geometry" Megan said

"Well I have geometry too" I said "lets go"
