Chapter 18

Kate's POV.

I woke up on my alarm. I have to go to classes today. I didn't go to classes since Zayn's accident so I have to study more I don't want my grades to get any lower.
I slowly walked to the bathroom making sure not to wake Zayn up.
I took a quick shower and Ironed my hair. I put on a NEO shirt and jeans. *picture on the side*
I picked up my phone and kissed him on his forehead then started walking downstairs for breakfast.
I found Mum and Dad having breakfast.
"Good morning sweety" mum said kissing my cheek
"Mornin mum" I said hugging her
"How is he?" Dad asked
"He's Alright Dad" I replied
"Mum I'm going to school please take care of Zayn. Make sure he takes his pills on time and that he doesn't get out of bed alot" I said in a hurry taking a bite from my apple.
"Don't worry honey I'll make sure nothing goes wrong" she reassured me.
"Bye guys" "Bye honey"
I got in my car and started driving to starbucks.
I rolled down the window and ordered my coffee then drove away to school.

I spotted El walking down the hall then she started to talk to a girl. I've never seen this girl before. I pushed away these thoughts out of my mind and walked towards her. when she saw me she told the girl to go and then she started walking towards me.
"Hello Kate nice to see you around" She said
"Nice to see you to" I said in confusion. Why is she acting like that? This is not the Eleanor I know
"How's Zayn?" She asked
"He's alright thanks to Allah, the doctor said he has to stay in bed for about 3 weeks" I said
"Glad he's okay. I gotta go" she said walking away
what's with her?
I started walking to my first class trying not to think about Eleanor's mysterious behaviour
It's lunch time and I'm walking in the cafeteria and started walking towards our table with my tray in hand.
"Hi guys" I greeted them
"Katee!! you're back" Niall cheered
"Yup. I'm back" I Said taking a seat between Liam and Harry.
"How is he doing?" Harry asked looking down in shame
"He's Good Harry...very good and he's dying to meet you guys" I said facing them
"Ohh our Zaynie is dying to meet us...poor Zaynie Staying home alone" Lou said chilishly
"Louu!"
"Okay okay" he said
My phone started buzzing and Zayn's name appeared on the screen. I answered the call
*Hi baby* he said in his morning voice
*Hi sleepyhead* he chuckled
*Where are you?*
*At the cafeteria. I'm having lunch with the boys*
*Tell them I said hi*
"Zayn Says hi" I told them
*We miss you Zayn* Lou yelled
I put Zayn on speaker
*I miss you too Lou*
*How's your leg?* Harry asked
*It's great. Thank you Harry* he said
I can feel awkwardness between these two and I need to fix this
I turned off the speaker
*Okay I gotta go now. Take care and if you need anything just tell mum*
*Don't worry I'm alright*
*Okay bye*
*Bye*
I Ended the call

"Harry can I talk to you for a second?" I said
"Ugh... Yeah yeah sure" he said as we stood up
"Excuse us guys"
we started walking to an empty table. We took our seats
"Harry I'm so sorry for my behavior back then. I didn't have the chance to apologize to you and..." he cut me off
"No Kate...I'm the one whose supposed to apologize here. I'm so sorry for everything I've caused...I-I don't know how I did it really" he said and I see tears in his eyes
"Harry...It's okay now everything's fine. Zayn's good and we're back together it's all okay. I forgive you" I said whipping away his tears
"T-thank you" his voice broke a little
I smiled and he smiled back
"Can you come visit me at home?"
"I don't know about that..." he said
"You and Zayn need to talk One way or Another" I said
"Okay...is 7 okay?"
"Perfect" I replied "I gotta go now my last class is gonna start" I said standing up
"Bye Kate" "Bye" I said and walked away.

Finally my last class is over.
I'm now in my car driving towards the hospital. I have a meeting with Zayn's Doctor.
I parked the car and now I'm walking to the frontdesk. I asked where the doctor's office is.
"Do you have an appointment with the doctor miss?" the secretary asked politely
"Yes I do. It's with the name Kate William" I said
she looked in her agenda
"Yes right. just wait a minute I'll go tell the doctor you're here" she said and I nodded
After like two minutes she opened the door "Come in miss" she smiled. I thank her and she closed the door after her.
"Hello miss Kate nice to see you again" he said as we shook hands
"Nice to meet you too Doctor" I smiled
"Take a seat please" he said and I took a seat infront of his desk
"I've been studying the X-Ray of Mr Malik"
"Is he okay?" I asked worriedly
"Yes he is I just wanted to write some more medicines for him to take and remember when I told him to rest? he needs to take a walk everyday but be careful don't tire him" he instructed
"Okay doctor. Thank you so much for your help" I said taking the paper from the doctor
"No need miss this is my job" he said as he shook my hand and I got out of his office.

I parked my car in the garage and got in.
"I'M HOME MUM" I yelled
"I'M HERE DARLIN" she yelled back
I walked in the living room and kissed her on the cheek. she was watching T.V
"How was your day?"
"Normal...like everyday" I answered "Oh mum...Harry's gonna visit at 7"
"Okay honey" "How are things between Zayn and Harry?"
"Well...That's why Harry's comin over. I wanna fix things between them" I explained
"Good luck" she patted my shoulder and I nodded
I walked upstairs with the bag of medicines in my hand.
I walked in my room to find Zayn laying on bed and watching TV with a cup of Hot chocolate in his hands.
"Hii" I said pecking his lips
"Hey" he said
"Guess what??" I said
"What!?" he asked in confusion
"Good news or bad news first?"
"Bad news" he replied still confused
"Okay. The doctor wrote you more medicines"
"Oh god" he rolled his eyes "And the good news??"
"Well I have three good news"
"C'mon say it" he said excitedly
"Number 1 The doctor said you can walk but we have to be carful and do not tire yourself" I said smiling widley
"YES! YES! YES! Finally"
"The second good news is....We are gonna have dinner at your favorite pizzariaaaa!!" ^_^
"I LOVE YOU KATEE!!" he said and pulled me into a tight hug
"Yeah I know you do" I said winking
"What about the third good news?"
"Harry is coming over at 7" I said afraid of his reaction
"What?! But why?"
""I invited him Zayn I had to, you two need to fix things together cause you're bestfriends" I said placing my hand on the back of his hand
"Fine" he said and I kissed his cheek
"I'm gonna go take a shower and change my clothes if you need anything call me" I said
"Okay" he smiled
I took my clothes and walked towards the bathroom
I opened the hot water and stepped in enjoying the feeling of the water on my body.
I really miss Justin I haven't seen him for a while. We only talk on phone but not always. He mentioned he's got a new girlfriend Her Name is Marie I haven't met her yet but from Justin's description she seems nice.

I'm done with my shower and Changed into other clothes. I curled my Hair and got out of the bathroom.
"Looking nice as always" Zayn complimented
"Thank youu" ^_^ Blush Blush
My phone started buzzing.I picked it up. It was Auntie Jasmine. I answered
*Kate please come over*
*What happened auntie* I asked worriedly
*It's Justin. He came home and started breaking everything in his room and I don't know what's wrong with him. You're the only one that can calm him down. I tried to talk to him but he doesn't answer* she cried
*Don't worry auntie I'm coming* I said ending the call
I picked my keys
"What happened?"
"It's justin. Auntie says that he is breaking everything in his room and he doesn't talk to her. she told me to go talk to him. I won't take long" I explained hurriedly putting on my shoes
"Okay" he said "If anything happens call me"
"ok"
I rushed downstairs and ran to his house.
I knocked on the door really quick and auntie opened the door
"He's in his room" she said and I nodded
I opened the door slowly to see a very messy room and a crying Justin sitting on the floor with his face in his hands.
I got closer and closer and took a seat beside him. I Wrapped my arms around him.
"Shshshhhhh what is it Justin? I'm here" I whispered
he started sobbing on my chest and I moved my hand up and down his back comforting him.
"K-Kate" he cracked
I hugged him tighter and started ruffling his hair slowly until he relaxed
"What's wrong?" I whispered
"M-Marie...M-Marie l-left me. S-he broke up with me"he stuttered
"It's okay Justin she's not the one. You'll find your girl I know it" I said
"B-but why?? I loved her alot why did she leave?"
"I don't know Justin maybe she's not the one for you. You'll find the girl that actually cares for you"
"Your poor mum is all worried about you" I said and he smiled a bit
"Come on" I said as I helped him get on his feet
I walked him to bed and stayed beside him until he fell asleep.
I covered him with the sheets and closed the lights.
I walked out of the room and Auntie stood up and started walking towards me
"How is he now? what's wrong?"
she asked
"He's sleeping now...It's Marie she broke up with him" I told her
"Oh my god really?" she was really shocked
"Yeah. If you need anything just call me I gotta go cause I have to give Zayn his medicines" I smiled
"Okay darling. Tell him I said hi"
"Will do" I smiled as she walked me to the front door.
I hugged her really tight and Left.
