( here is a story I had to write for my ela class in school)
Hi my name is Ruby, I'm a wolf that loves my pack. One day all my pack members got jealous of something I did and kicked em out for no reason. I was just trying to be the best pack member I could be, and I was. So they kicked me out and Jackson the alpha of our pack banished me from the pack. I ran away because I didn't want to be where I'm not wanted. I was a cast off now, a castoff is a wolf that has no pack to call their own and, no pack wants a castoff as a member. I tried this one but they didn't want me to join because I was different, at least that's what they told me. I tried to change and I tried to comprimes with them but they just rejected me.
The wolves of my old pack spread rumors about me, and they warned other packs of my presence. That's why the one pack did not want me. I changed me appearance by rolling in dirt, I tried to change my attitude still nothing. I was even told to get lost by one of the wolves, I was also told that I was trying to hard. I was upset and tried to negotiate with the pack alpha.
The pack alpha did not like the idea of me being in the pack. He wanted me there because he knew I was innocent and did nothing to deserve this. I told him that I could just hunt and bring them food. I also told him, I would be willing to do all the work. He rejected the offer and said that it was not necessary, and that I was officially rejected from the pack because if he accepted me he knew he would have a mutiny to deal with.
After I was told that I was distraught, because the alpha was selfish. I left that pack alone and went searching for another one. I soon found one, with all sorts of wolves in it. I asked if I could join and they said yes. I was shocked and so many other emotions as well. They said they ignored the rumors and would be happy to accept me the why I was, so I joined and I was officially part of their pack.
I learned a lesson during this experience, I learned to be happy with who I am. I also learned that you need to surround yourself with people who like you for who you are, who you want to be around. I love my new pack and they love me. I'm great friends with everyone and I never heard of my old pack or that one pack again. But why would I need them when I found where I belong. With this pack and all my other wolf friends with me.
