I kept repeating those two words in my head for as long as I can remember. Then I tried saying them out loud.
I got out of bed and found myself at my full length mirror, mouthing the fragile words, I'm gay, over and over and over again. And when I finally had the courage to make my voice be heard, I said it another twelve times.
I think that's when it all finally clicked.
I, Sarah Hale, am gay, but more than that, I'm in love.
