Back At The Start

**Lofty's POV**

I remember all I heard was firm footsteps from coming down the stairs, whilst I was on AAU. I ran like no one could stop me. 

"You should not be telling me what to do!" Screeched Isaac in Dom's face.

"I am sorry. I was only trying to help." Replied Dom in his soft and scared voice.

"You don't know what's best for me!!!" As Isaac stepped closer to Dom, Dom fell backwards down the stairs where he landed at my feet. 

"DOM!!!" Screamed Isaac and I almost in sync.

"Isaac go get help now!!!!!" 

"HELP!!!" Shouted Isaac as he ran upstairs and met Zosia half way up. "Zosia..."

"Isaac." She continued to walk down the stairs "DOM! Isaac! If you have anything to do with this I swear you will wish you had never been born!!!"

Isaac gulps and runs upstairs and bumps into Sacha. "Isaac. You are needed in theatre. Go now!" 

"But..."

"No buts Doctor Mayfield, go now!"  As Sacha walks down towards Zosia, Dom and I he turns and stares at Isaac. "My office afterwards!" As Sacha runs to Dom's aid.

Dom slowly opens his eyes, his eye now black and his nose and lip bleeding... "It wasn't his fault. I slipped"

"Dom... don't lie for him. Please. I saw what happened. The shouting and I saw him push you down the stairs." I replied sympathetically.

"Lofty. I want you to take Dom back to yours where you both will take 2 weeks off. Zosia you will still be going to Yale, I will personally stay and deal with Isaac." Replies Sacha, his voice firm and strong.

I was weak at the knees as I helped Dom stand and supported him as we walked back to Keller to get his things. I have never felt this way towards a man before. What is happening to me?

**Dom's POV**

After everything with Isaac, I think I like Lofty....

As Lofty left me to get his things from AAU, Zosia passed me and raised an eyebrow before standing infront of me.

"What are you gonna do about Lofty?"

"Zos, what do you mean?" I blushed very VERY deeply.

"Its clear you like him. You have 2 weeks with him, get to know him." Zosia said doing her smile. "One word you use to describe Lofty" She says smiling as Ollie approached us and kisses her neck.

"Perfect" I reply blushing even more before turning to see Lofty entering the staff room.

"Here comes the love of your life" Ollie says cheekily before laughing.

"Hey Dom. Ready to go?" Curiously asked Lofty. I won't ever forget his curiosity. The cuteness.

"Always Lofty" I smiled before hugging Zosia for the last time and whispering "I will do what is right" As Zosia raises an eyebrow and giggles before I catch up with Lofty and we walk out of Holby.
