Day 22: A Brother's Rebuke

You cannot mend this broken dream

   With hymns of far-off hope,

For when you hear the church bells scream,

   I sit and mope.

This world you see with goggled eyes

   Deceives you every day;

You never seem to see the lies

   They always say.

You think you're smart and think I'm dumb,

   Lacking your wit and grace,

But still I have that precious crumb

   Of love's embrace.

I loved your father, loved your mother,

   And still I love you now;

You used to love me like a brother,

   And yet somehow

You've lost the will to love and fight

   For all you've held so near,

So get yourself out of my sight!

   Is that fucking clear?

(To be continued . . .)

A/N: Still venting out more emotional pain. ( <_< )
