Poetry Camp (February)
Fox-Trot-9Day 22: A Brother's Rebuke
You cannot mend this broken dream
With hymns of far-off hope,
For when you hear the church bells scream,
I sit and mope.This world you see with goggled eyes
Deceives you every day;
You never seem to see the lies
They always say.You think you're smart and think I'm dumb,
Lacking your wit and grace,
But still I have that precious crumb
Of love's embrace.I loved your father, loved your mother,
And still I love you now;
You used to love me like a brother,
And yet somehowYou've lost the will to love and fight
For all you've held so near,
So get yourself out of my sight!
Is that fucking clear?(To be continued . . .)
A/N: Still venting out more emotional pain. ( <_< )
