Poetry Camp (February)
Fox-Trot-9Day 11: Note to Self
I know you're reading, yet you sat and wrote
Another minutes' worth of helpful words
To tell you this: just go and view the birds,
Or smell the flowers before they start to float,
Or talk to friends, or maybe say a prayer
And pick up chicks and talk to them awhile,
Or maybe go to town in flagrant style,
Or simply get your ass up off the chair
And stretch a bit! No wonder you're unwell!
You wrote these words and stuck them on the wall,
Reminding you that constant work's not all
There is to life: don't make your life a hell!
Enjoy you're life while you still have it, dude,
So loosen up and change you attitude!(To be continued . . .)
A/N: Sorry for not being able to keep up with my poems, or being able to read anyone's poems this week. I've just been swamped with reading homework and tests this week. ( T_T )
