And our story begins here...
•••3rd POV••• [Secret laboratory in a secret city in a secret underground bunker full of secrets]
Hero Hunter swipes his badge into the system which opens the large steel door that stands before him. He walks into the room, not even flinching since he's already used to all the bright lights and machines that were inside. Everyone that is in there stand quietly as he makes his way inside with his 'gift' for them.
He walks in halfway, then dropping the unconscious hero onto the white tiled floor that will now be stained with her blood.
"Great job out there! You're getting closer and closer to your final mission." A man says to the villain, wearing a lab coat just like everyone else in the room is.
"And that is?" Hero Hunter asks him, folding his arms over his chest.
"You'll find out soon." The man grins, grabbing the hero by her arms and dragging her into a back room.
"Very soon." He adds, then closing the door behind him.

Eventually in the future, I'll read over this and edit because I have a feeling it'll need a ton of work.
Also, you may be thinking how all of the powers are connected (ex. So Shadow King can obviously control shadows, but what does that have to do with teleportation and what not?), you'll find out soon. It will make sense, believe me.
For now, I hope you enjoyed meeting our characters and enjoyed the prologue!
