Seeing you stand there, smiling gently towards your best friend, listening to his every word, letting the sound of his voice sink in, trying to understand what he was saying, though you probably didn't, no matter how hard your tried, was the most refreshing sight any one could see.
I wonder, why do you listen with such intensity if you can't understand? Why do you smile so innocently?
Maybe it is because, you love it when your best friend talks about something he loves, his passion. Maybe it is because you love seeing him struggle with his words as he tries to explain, in a very fast pace, about the passion he has.
Maybe it is because you try to understand what it is like to have a passion, since you do not have one.
