Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Sugar is sweet
And so are you!

But;

The roses are wilted,
The violets are dead.
The sugar has rotted,
And my wrists are stained red.

It's an ill written story,
That's effect comes dread.
When the sugar has rotted,
And my wrists are stained red.

It's an ill written story,
One not told before bed,
Until the sugar has rotted,
And my wrists are stained red.

It's an ill written story,
You learn before death,
That the sugar will rot,
And your wrists will be red.

But that story is time,
And today isn't dead,
Because the sugar isn't yet rotten,
And only hearts are red.

Today is a day,
If love has grasped you,
To forget your tears,
And kiss who asks you.

Today is a day,
I come with a request.
Will you dry my tears,
And give me a kiss?
