The Weeknd- I Feel It Coming

Ethious:

As the beach came into view I couldn't help but notice all the beautiful women fooling around in the shoreline of the beach. I glanced back at the guys and they all smiled back at me knowingly.

My mom had rented us a cabin near the woods, facing the cliffs. She knows us all too well. She knew we'd take the time to not only view the business of the territory but the pleasures as well. We can't expand our territory without knowing what we were getting in return.

We pulled up to the cabin to realize that it's more than a cabin. It looks like a suburban two-story house. No matter what direction you look, there is nothing for miles. Definitely picked this place in case we wanted to go for a run.

The beauty of being around humans is that they're oblivious to what we are and rogues don't bother with them for the same reason we don't. They're fragile and easy to spook. Scared humans are the worst.

It would be a risk for us to keep them near. The only reason we were here is because we need the space. As soon as our people reign in, the humans will leave it's their natural instinct telling them to survive and for that I am thankful.

"We'll scope the perimeter boss," Jason laughed as he playfully shoved his brother Mason.

"Scope the perimeter my ass," Jace grunted shaking his head.

"Be careful here. This is their land and I want to keep that way until we're ready to move in," They both nodded heading towards the back of the house.

"We're going into town to stock up on food, girls," Jace shouted after them.

"Okay mom," they both said in girly voices and pretended to giggle. I let out a chuckle.

"How's Sara?" I asked making conversation once we reached the grocery store. Jace is my best friend, my beta, but he's as uptight as they come.

"Her mom is persuading her to fully mate. I want to wait until she's eighteen and graduates. I don't want her to feel like she's obligated to give up anything because she's my mate and I'm the beta. She needs to do what she needs to do," he answered pushing the cart as I just grabbed stuff off the shelves and dumped them into it.

Jace had found his mate when he shifted at sixteen. She was eleven at the time. He told her mother and said he would wait for her when she turned sixteen and shifted herself. The woman was more than happy to know that. If it were up to her she would have handed the girl over then and there.

Jace had been there for her for everything. The passing of her father down to handling the pain of the first shift. I admire my beta and his self-control. I sure as hell don't have any. Not that I would line up to look like a pedo. I'd probably have to learn that restraint in his position.

Now that she's old enough it gets frustrating for him because she wants to please him and he promised himself he wouldn't get in the way of what she wanted for her future against what she wants in the heat of the moment.

"Have you talked to her mother and told her to back off?" I asked. He slightly nodded.

"Yeah, but the damage is done. Her wolf is still a pup running on hormonal instinct. Sometimes it's hard to stop her and then she turns it around talking about she understands that I don't want her like that because she's a little kid," we both laughed.

"I don't even know what to say to that,"

"There's nothing to say. That's why I didn't hesitate to agree to come. She's driving my wolf insane. She knows exactly what to do taunt me," we both laughed again.
