He sighed and bit his lip as he let go of me and faced the floor. Thinking deeply about something from the look in his eyes. This wasn't how I imagined I'd be with my mate. I never imagined hurting him like this, nor me becoming furious at him for something that he did.

But how could he have the guts and soul to just... Rip someone apart like he was nothing?

"I'll make it up to you... I promise," he said after a moment of hesitation. "I know... I know I can..."

I simply stared at him at a loss for words as he scratched the back of his head nervously, looking everywhere but me.

"Get washed, I...wanna show you something." He said, now meeting my eyes. I simply nodded, knowing if I rejected his offer, I'd hurt him and no one would like me for being selfish....

I headed for the bathroom and felt his gaze digging holes into my back. I opened the black wooden door and gasped at the new surrounding.

White tiled floor, maroon walls that seemed to shine when the light emitting from the black wood framed window reflected on them. A glass shower cubicle stood at the far right corner and a white bathtub was designed to correspond with the left corner. In the middle, was two large mirrors each with maroon painted cupboards, possibly holding some conditioners and the like.

I slowly closed the door behind me, glancing over my shoulder, I saw him still staring at me. Once I slowly closed the door and locked it, I sighed out in relief to having closed the tension his eyes gave me.

I took a quick shower and dried myself completely with a towel hanging just outside the cubical. Now staring at the dirty clothes I had on, I wondered if I had to wear the same.

Surprisingly, a nice white dress hang just by the door with a note above it saying 'wear this,'.

I walked to it and stretched it's fabric a bit, examining the nice decorations and designs that complimented it so well and how it was the right fit for me.

I walked into a large hallway, walking towards two big brown doors that stretched towards the ceiling. I hadn't found Grey in the room once I had gotten out, he simply left a note instructing that I go to the dining hall. Completely oblivious to the fact that I had no clue of where it was.

The black marble heels, he picked for me was, as a matter of fact, too loud and annoying to the ears as I walked.

A woman flinched and quietly hissed at me at some point in the corridor when I walked past her in a hurry. I couldn't blame her but apologize for it.

Up ahead, just at the door, was Grey's beta. Well dressed as always, in a neat dark blue suit with his hair tied to a tight ponytail.

He flashed me a smile as I got closer. I couldn't help but smile back at him.

"You look delicious." He winked and I blushed, tucking some hair behind my ear and straightening my back.

"Thank you." I said.

"Grey's waiting outside, shall we?" He held out his hand and I sighed, placing my palm in his, taking in the warmth from his fingers.

"We shall," I said as my heart picked up some pace, this time, I sensed her, my wolf, she was excited for no reason. "What's your name?"

"Oh, my apologises," he grinned, "I'm Jacob."

"Oh," I nodded with a small mindful smile as he led me towards the door. He opened them with less effort and I was greeted with a room filled with bright red roses that I couldn't help but smile at their beauty.
