Chapter 2

When I got there, I just sat in the car for a couple minutes with engine off, staring at the school.

I've been going to this school for two years .. and im transferring in my first month of my junior year.

This sucks .

I got out of the car swinging my backpack on and locked up my car. Today was going to suck ..

When I entered the school I went to the back to meet up with my friends. Before I could even tell them good morning they tackled me down with suffocating hugs.

"Im gonna miss you soo muchh L!!" Kate shouted in my ear. I've known kate since the sixth grade. we got partnered up one day and became friends when we found out we liked and hated he same people.

"You just cant leave Lace .. " Casey pouted. Casey became friends with Kate and me our freshman year. Ironic how our names rhyme too.

"I don't even want to go .. " I said keeping my eyes down knowing all too well that Kate was giving me the look, because she believes it would be good for my mom and me to move in together and bond and all that crap ..

"It will be good for you!!" Kate said sternly and a little loudly. She knew it all, she knew my mom just got herself pulled together, she also knows im being sent there to help her keep it together, and to "Bond." Kate always looks on the bright side though.

"Your so lucky L, I wish I could move to a whole new country filled with almost Robert Pattison look a likes. Ahh.." Let me tell you she had a giant grin on her face when she said all this too, daydreaming over her hunk. She snapped out of it though when Case spoke. If Case hadn't though, Kate would be drooling by now, no doubt.

"Eww, no, spain is better, maybe I'll find me another Enrique Iglesias or maybe another Channing Tatum somewhere else .. Yumm." Case said with a wink.

"You guys are too much." Is all I could manage out cause i was laughing. These girl are such boy lovers I swear. It's almost all that comes out of their mouth.

During lunch we sat at our usual seat outside of the cafeteria. It was pretty much our table too, it's like those round tables from in-and-out or wenerschnitzel, with those fake umberellas on top.

As we ate the schools pasta we talked about me leaving. Last thing I honestly wanted to do. As much as I hate school too, I rather be at this one than in a new country at a new school with supposedly dreamy hot English boys.

"Will you be coming back?" Kate asked sipping her milk. "I don't know .." That was the honest truth.

"Well .." Case began, "since your going to a new school and nobody know you, get yourself a boyfriend." She had one big grin.

"Yeah!!". Kate chinned in agreement, "But since you ALSO don't know them, don't fall for those guys, make them fall for you."

"Actually ..". Case had a devilish smirk, these two are such trouble, "We dare you to make the most popular guy there fall in love with you Lace. Do you accept the the bet or not?"

Kate just nudged me smiling and nodding to get me to at yes. Me make the most popular guy fall for me? Well, they don't know me, it's a new country, I don't think it'll be that difficult ...

"Okay, I accept." I said in a not confident enough voice.

"This will be so much fun!"

"Oh yes, our Lacey is a baddy!"

The two were just chatting it up and began planning. I just laughed at how excited those two were.
