Chapter 9.

An; I am so sorry I have been taking forever to upload, I haven't be inspired to write lately. Thank you to everyone that has been reading, commenting, voting, and such; it means a lot ! I am sorry in advance for any mistakes, I suck at editing my stuff ! Anyway... On to the chapter.

Jace's Pov -

  " How is your plan working out so far ? " My middle age boss, the one that is holding my mate hostage, asked me. 

  " Pretty good. I already have her trust, now I just have to get her to turn against that ass of a mate she has." I replied, taking a seat across from him.

 " Well you better make sure she does, or you never see your dear mate again. And make it snappy,  I am getting quite impatient. " He growled.

 " I know. I already have a plan in motion. " I informed him.

  " And what might that plan be ? " He asked curiously.

  " Wouldn't you like to know. " I said. " You will have to jut wait and see. " 

 " I could kill you for not telling me, but, I won't. I think it will be more entertaining not knowing. " He laughed, but it was humorless.

  " I have to get going, I have a phone call to make. " I told him, now standing up.

 " I will be keeping in touch. " He said.

Nathan's Pov -

  The pack just finished dinner and Faith stayed back to clear the table. I started picking up a couple plates and cups following her into the kitchen. " So I heard you went off on Whitney. " I said making conversation. She laughed.

 "  Does everyone know about that ? " She asked.

" Uh, pretty much, yeah. " I replied.

  " Well, she deserved it. And it was really hilarious to see her face when I told her off. " She laughed again.

" I bet; no one stands up to her, besides me, of course. " I told her.

 " Why is that ? It is isn't like she is anyone important . She is just a bitch. " Faith replied, loading the dishes into the dish washer.

 " Probably because all the un mated guys want to get into her pants or already have, and most the girls want to be like her. " I answered.

 " I don't see why though, she is like a walking std. And she has a bad attitude. " She said.

 " I don't know. I have never liked her. " I shrugged. " Do you want to go on a run in a few minutes ? "

 " Sure. I need to stretch my legs. " She agreed. I wanted to jump for joy, she wasn't ignoring me, or being rude anymore !

 " I am just going to change, then I will meet you outside. " I informed her.

 " Okay. I bet I can beat you up the stairs. " She challenged.

 " Bring it on. " I sprinted towards the door.

Faith's Pov ~

" Okay. I bet I can beat you up the stairs. " I challenged.

" Bring it on. " Nathan said as he sprint towards the door. I beat him to the door, but he pushed me out the way, and got to the top of the stairs a second before me. 

 " Not fair. You cheated. " I pouted, sticking out my bottom lip.

" Nuh uh, there are no rules, so I didn't cheat. Hahaha. " He pointed out, laughing at me.

 " No rules eh ? " I asked, making my way towards him.

" That's what I said." I continued to advance towards him. " Uh, Faith ? What are you doing ? " He laughed nervously as I pushed him against a wall.

 " Admit you cheated. " I told him, pressing my self against him.

 " Ne- Never ! " He said, a bit breathless. I put my face so close to his that our lips would touch if I talked.

 " Admit you cheated. " I whispered seductively, our lips grazing each others. He groaned.

 " Alri- alright. I- I cheated. " He stuttered.

 " I thought so. " I laughed, as he closed his eyes leaning in. I skipped down the hall to my bedroom.

 " TEASE ! " He yelled.

" I know. " I replied and shut my door. I changed into a pair of short running shorts and a white tank before making sure my hair was in a tight ponytail, then I jogged back down stairs taking them two at a time. Nathan was standing outside facing the forest, seeming deep in thought. I sneakily crept up behind him but before I could jump on his back like I had wanted to, he turned around and before I knew it I face on the ground with him straddling me. Awkward...

 " You didn't think it would be that easy to sneak up on me, did you ? " He asked mockingly.

 " Uh, I kinda did..." I shrugged.

" Well, it's not. " He whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver.

 " Let's go for that run now. " I responded.

 " Yeah. Let's go. " He agreed.
