We trudge through the dusty biome. Nightfall chases up and all is quiet apart from Shade's heavy breathing coming from behind me. The night tasted bitter and we could lightly taste the sour air of mutants. This meant trouble. We broke out into a run, ignoring the burning sensation shooting through my body. As we ran towards our Empire, the unmistakable sour smell of rotting bodies became stronger and stronger. We came to the barrier, Dante shouts the latin passcode in a hurry as a few mutants were only a few meters behind us, flicking up sand as they dragged their yellow-green limbs across the sandy biome. I let out a cry as I trip over and my foot gets hit my the barrier. It burned and I couldn't help but scream with agony. The pain feels suffocating. Everything goes black.
