I had only been gone a week, just a weekend in the cabin outside of the city.
What happened?! My house, my family, everyone. It's all just gone. It all looked like it had been abandoned for years.
I could hear shouting in the distance. Turning my head, I could see a man in the distance, racing towards me. His lips moved fast, but I couldn't understand what he was saying.
Until he was closer I could finally make out his words,"They come out in the day! Hurry! They're almost here!"
