Fathers
Let me tell you something about your sons
If they cry, it is not weakness
If they hurt, it does not make them a pussy
It makes them human
Father
Let me tell you something about your son
He is strong beyond belief
He is carrying the weight of the world on his back
And for once it might be nice if you didn't add to it
You called him a wimp for crying in front of me
I call you a wimp because you are too afraid to show emotion in front of your wife or children
You called him weak for feeling pain that was too much
I call you weak for not teaching your son that it's okay to break every once in awhile
You claim to be a good father, but punching him in the stomach just because he cries or wants his life to be different from your plan makes you the worst kind of father
Mother
Let me tell you about your son
He is not other men
He is not a little boy anymore
He is not worthless
He is not a disappointment
Just because you don't like how he cuts his hair
Mother
Why do you let Father do this to him?
Do you not care for your own son?
Mother
Let me tell you about myself
I am the girl that your little boy loves
I am the girl that will spend every moment making sure that neither of you ever make him feel worthless ever again
I am the girl that will take him far away from you and all the pain you've cause him
I will treat him like you should have all along
Let me tell you about my fiance
He is starlight dancing among the night sky
He is the peace and calm of a snowy winter afternoon
His eyes shine like the moon and his arms feel like home
He protects me
He keeps me safe
And I will never let him go
