As soon as I got ready into my black stilettos and realized that I didn't have cool hair do. I remembered that when I explored the room I found a room service button near the light switch I hit the button and in minutes an entire crew came to my door.
"Good afternoon ma'am." said a woman with a very thick, almost unrecognizable, british accent. A middle aged man came in right after her.
"Good day. How would you like your hair and makeup?"
"Whatever you want. Nothing bright at all. The brightest you can get for me is silver." I told them.
"Okay I will do some eyeliner and a shadow eye. And I have a question."
"Ask away."
"What would you like us to do with the scar?" she asked very timidly.
"Don't try to cover it. Put the makeup around it. Scars are signs of strength. If you have a scar that means you have been in battle and were rewarded with a mark to tell others about." I exclaimed bravely. She nodded and went on with my makeup. When they were done my short hair had two large cornrows on the left side of my head and the rest wavy, and my makeup had a shadow eye with not a single thing on my scar. I was ready to go. Soon after they left I got a knock on my door. "Come on in." Carter comes in in a tux with the coat slung over his shoulder. I look at him in awe.
"Ever... you look absolutely stunning. You were gorgeous before and this just made you over the top."
"I could say the same back." I walked up to him. He offered me his arm.
"Shall we my beautiful."
"We shall." I smiled. Everyone stared at us as we walk down the stairs to get into the limo. On the way to the capitol building we rode in silence. As soon as we got there I hopped out immediately. "I hate car rides." I exclaimed. Carter just giggled and pulled me into his chest. Everyone got out of the car and I noticed Peter eyeing Mavis. I said a small prayer for him, because if Edward saw that he would be a pile of ashes by now. I walked up to Mavis and gave her a big hug. I guess she didn't expect that because she didn't hug me back for a few seconds.
"Sorry." I said pulling away. "I was hot and you are freezing. And I just wanted to hug you." She giggled and pulled me in for another hug.
We started walking towards the stadium eyes on us. I looked up to see Carter looking down at me with a smile on his face. "What?"
"You just look beautiful." he said with dreamy eyes.
"Thank you babe. I have a question."
"Ask away."
"Is Abigail your sister? I don't know how that works."
"She is my cousin." I thought about that. I wanted to get to know Abigail more. I walked over to where she was standing.
"You look amazing." I didn't lie. She looked great in her navy blue cocktail dress and a white sweater.
"T-thank you. I wanted to tell you, but your shoes are beautiful." The more she spoke the quieter she got. I looked down at my shoes. They really were beautiful. They were silver high heels with a cluster of rhinestones on the toe. I shot her a smile and gave her a big hug. When I walked back over to Carter he was smiling big.
"Time to go." I took a deep breath and we started walking into the stadium. The president stopped us and put us into a line. I happened to be first. Tragic. I was the first they were going to see, their first impression on our team. I peered through the window on the door. It was a football stadium with a giant stage in the middle.
