Blushing face raised to the bright sky,
Tears have filled her starry eyes;
All that's left to ask now is why,
Why must there be goodbyes?
While he was here she was too shy,
Wondering why it didn't fade, by and by;
No matter how hard she'd try
She couldn't spread her wings and fly.
Now he's gone, on whom to rely?
She's lonely, and that, unable to deny.
The prairies hear a desperate cry
But not even nature itself will whisper a reply.

One Mind's Skylines | ✔
Poetry❝The human mind is a city. Bustling with ideas, lit up with imagination. All we have to do is construct it because even if no one else can come inside, our mind's skylines can be seen and understood from afar.❞ [Highest #115 in Poetry ~ 25.Feb.18]
