I walked into the house and it was unusually dark. I closed and locked the door and unsheathed my sword as my body ignited in flames I saw something move in the shadows. She came out and I sighed in relief. "nearly, man am I so glad that it is you." I went to hug her and she backed up and began biting her bottom lip which she only does when something is on her mind. "Near what is it baby? Are you ok, what is wrong?" Tears began to stream down her face and that's when I noticed she was covered in blood and it was Sumiko's.
"Please stay away, I do not wanna hurt you too." I slowly got closer arms out.
"nearly I know you wouldn't do that, ok?"
"Brandon you don't know that," she clinched her fists and the protection mark began to burn on the floor around me. I got to her and held her close.
