Winter's POV

~Tuesday Morning~

I woke up hearing knocks on my door.

"What?" I asked in bedroom voice.

"I'll enter." I heard my brother then the door opens.

"What's the matter? Its too early for a conversation". I asked still lying on my bed.

"Mom called, they will come home 2 weeks from now and they want us to fetch them at the airport. Is that okay?" He asked that made me seated.

"When exactly?" I asked.

"Tss. What's with the bedroom voice? It's already passed 8." He then laugh.

I just gave him a pernicious look.

"Oh. Easy. Tama nga silam. Magbiro ka na sa lasing wag lang sa bagong gising. HAHAHA. Anyways, Next next saturday. If that's okay?"

"Okay. If I have appointments that time I would just cancel it." I answered.

"Well, are you ready? I mean, Mom will come back with Dad. We both know that you aren't in good terms."

I smiled bitterly. He's right we're not in good terms. Remember that Dad chose me to handle the Mafia instead of my brother? He's reason was, "You're brother has something more important than your life. He should be safe and sound." He just let me to handle it because my life is less important than he's son. Pathetic wits of him. He's blaming me for Mandy's death. As if I like what happened. I've been traumatized after that incident. But what? He just trained me with guns.

"Come what may." I answered bitterly and got up from bed. My brother hugged me.

"No parents would take their child in jeopardy." He said trying to cheer me up.

"I know. I will prove him that Mandy's death isn't my fault."

I smiled at him assuring that I'm fine.

"Go out. I'll take a bath. Tell Manang Mildred to cook me a delicious breakfast. I haven't eaten anything since yeaternight." I exclaimed then went to the bathroom to take shower.

"Aye Aye Boss." He then went out.

I Hope everything would be back to normal. I hope I have the guts to face my father. Eventhough, he's being non-chalant towards me I din't get even get mad. Maybe because Blood is really thicker that anything else.

Felicity's POV

Nung nagpameeting si Winter at tungkol pala yun sa mga taong pumatay sa magulang ko. Yung weirdong pagkatao ko e otomatikong namatay at isang taong walang awa na pumatay ng buhay ang pumalit.
