Day Zero: The day the taps are turned off and we all have to queue for water.

My family is planning on probably going to my aunt's holiday house in a different part of the country when that day hits- probably in April. It's going to get bad.

Crime.

Protests.

People queuing for water all day, every day.

People getting killed for water.

Guys, I'm genuinely terrified. Cape Town, my home for my whole life, is going bad places.

And I'm scared.

To the rest of the world: spread the news about what's happening. Not because I expect the world to fix our problems, but to raise awareness. This could happen to any country.

We have destroyed our world, crossed the point of no return. The world is getting back at us now. Our wasteful lifestyles are catching up with us. And as always, the poorer nations of the world have to pay the price.
