23. twenty three

🌙🌙🌙

They moved in sync for a while, small movements while the song lasted. Aiden could see her enthusiasm for dancing disappearing slowly, her eyes drooping and her movements slowing down.

Her head dropped to his shoulder, her body colliding with his. He could feel his body heat rising up by the second by her touch, the million hairs on his body standing up way too straight for his liking.

She stayed there for a while, her movements were halted, just the soft breaths escaping her lips. Her cool breath blew through his ear, sending shivers up his spine. The music was going on in the background but Aiden was so focused on Lilian and her soft breathing that he could barely hear it.

A few minutes passed while an upbeat song started playing again, her head detaching itself from his shoulder. She stared at him for a while, a lazy smile etched into her face.

He couldn't help but stare back, memorizing her face into his mind again. He was drowning in her blue green eyes and he knew she was drowning in his too. She had always said she loved his eyes, the color of the ocean, a place where she loved to go.

His eyes narrowed, taking in her arched eyebrows, her slightly smudged eyeliner, the concealer under her eyes that was slowly vanishing. Her straight nose, the highlight of her cheekbones, how they looked serene and gorgeous with highlight. And her pink lips, smudged with red, gorgeous lipstick.

She bit her lower lip before running her tongue over it slowly. She inched closer, her hands grazing his shoulder before cupping his angled face.

Her lips tugged upwards by a fraction before she leaned closer again, her lips brushing through his like a soft whisper, so soft that Aiden couldn't almost feel it.

Although he did, and despite the inner him chanting 'don't do this. Don't do this. She's drunk and will kill you when she's sober' he pushed his lips fiercely against his, accepting her invitation.

She curled her lips against him, a hint of a drunk smile playing on her lips. She tightened her hold on his neck, winding closer to him as her body pushed against him.

She pulled away almost immediately, her hands moving to his wrist again, tugging him forward as she walked, although a bit wobbly to the sofa. She panted slightly before throwing her head back.

Lilian set him on the sofa, letting him sit suddenly while she sat on top of him, straddling him while she enclosed her legs around his waist. Her hands cupped his jaw again as she kissed him now, hard.

He deepened the kiss in seconds, his hands fisting the material of her play suit near her waist. Her lips were soft as always and he tasted her chapstick and her lipstick.

She bit his lip impatiently, her hands dropping to his chest, and lower and under his shirt. He wasn't in the mood for games and he knew she wasn't as well. So he opened his mouth easily, letting her in, and tasting the bittersweet taste of vanilla vodka on her tongue.

His hands trailed upwards, touching her bare arm. He started tracing round patterns on them, heat rising up by the minute.

Aiden pulled away, panting slightly. His heart was thumping fast from the feeling of euphoria running through his body and he definitely knew it wasn't because of them winning the match.

"Wait. Wait, Lilian."

She clicked her tongue breathlessly. "What?"

"Who's Dakota?" Aiden couldn't help but let the question roll off his tongue. He'd been thinking about it desperately and although he tried not to, and although he wanted to talk to Lilian as a friend he knew that he could never ever do that.

His heart was pulsating for the one and only Lilian de Vera.

"Dakota?" She scoffed. "He's my friend. I like, help him with his studies." She slurred.

He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. A breath he didn't want to hold. "So tomorrow you and him are—"

"Going over geography and maths. Why?"

He sighed in relief. "No, it's fine."

His eyes closed for a second after pulling away, his head tilting down to meet her jaw. He started peppering small butterfly kisses to her jawline, one space at a time. She tilted her head back, her hands fisting around the thin material of his shirt.

He moved down from her jaw to her neck, his lips sending fire to her veins. His teeth grazed her soft skin at the nape of her neck, nipping at the edge before he pressed his lips and bit, purple gashes of lust appearing at her neck, marking her.

He knew they couldn't keep doing this forever, they had to give out eventually but he wanted it to last more than forever. All he wanted was to touch her, kiss her and be with her.

He kissed her cheek softly, making Lilian open her eyes at the interruption.

His heart was throbbing, and he tightened his hold on her waist, a breathless but lazy smile appearing on his face.

The whole thing was unorganized. Just like his heart when her eyes glazed over with lust as she pressed her intoxicating lips to his, and Aiden Williams felt himself drowning in the sea called Lilian de Vera.
