Chapter 26: The Chapter Where Shit Hits the Fan!

Start from the beginning

"Get up now Teo please" I cry softly.

He grins pulling off my ring, "when I gave you this it was true but carried a different purpose for the time. One you weren't too fond off." He moves it to my right ring finger before pulling out a box from his pocket opening it to reveal a huge oval diamond sitting on a diamond encrusted rose gold band. "So today I'm asking correctly. Danica Zaylee Woods would you do me the honor of being stuck with me? Will you marry me?"

I nod trying to get my emotions in check. "Yes! A million times yes!" He slides the ring on before standing and kissing me deeply. I kiss back just as I hear loud clapping. I pull away from Teo to see our family and friends standing there grinning. "Aw I look a mess" I whine wiping my face causing them to laugh.

"You look beautiful tesoro" Teo whispers kissing the side of my neck.

"Congrats baby" Jas grins hugging me before looking at my new ring. "Whoa, nice upgrade."

"Thanks" I smile.

Everyone takes turns congratulating us and admiring my new ring. Hell even my brother is here. How Teo did all this is beyond me, he's usually not one for big public romantic gestures. He stepped out his comfort zone and was vulnerable all for me and for that I can't think him enough. He manages to surprise me everyday. Once everyone has moved to sit to eat I pull him close into a kiss. He kisses back just as passionately before I pull away.

"Thank you so much baby" I whisper.

"You don't have to thank me tesoro you know that."

"Not just for this, for showing me what unconditional love is, for our blessing, for it all."

He kisses my lips softly, "I should be thanking you for those."

I grin kissing him again before going back to my plate. We're not perfect but we're perfect for each other. At the end of the day that's all I can ask for.

Today Teo had to go into his office to handle some business. My only class for today was cancelled so for the majority of the day I spent lounging around the house, that was before Mr. Coletti just called asking me to drop of some documents to an associate of his. I pull on my jacket calling Teo.

"Tesoro" he answers immediately.

"I have to step out and I promised that I'd call if I left."

"Where the hell are you going?"

"Mr. Coletti asked me to drop off documents to an associate of his."

"Hurry back."

I smile, "I will, I need a nap."

"Don't do anything stupid."

"Love you too."

We hang up and I get into my taxi telling the driver the office address. I have to pick up the packet from the office then drop it off. I'll try to be as quick as possible so I don't give Teo a heart attack. I think he has the tendency to get paranoid as if something is going to happen to me. I hail a taxi telling him the new address while sending a text to Teo telling him I'm almost done. I'd send him a thousand updates if that means I don't have ten buff guys following me everywhere I go. Like who do I think I am, the president? I'm a speck in a sense plus, I don't like too much attention. When the car stops I look up to see a condo building. I pay the driver before getting out, soon as I walk in all eyes are on me. I follow the emailed instructions to get to the room before knocking on the door and it quickly opens revealing an older man.
