My eyes flutter open and I try to adjust to the bright light. First thing I notice is that I feel no pain whatsoever which is unbelievable. The second is that I seem to be in some hospital room with honey colored walls. But it's the details that get me, the tiny dents in the wall that I wouldn't have noticed before. What's happening? The door opens revealing Teo making me sit up. Wow, he looks so different, the hair I once thought was black is a really dark brown with chestnut colored low lights, there's tiny specks of gold in his emerald irises. There's a faint scar directly above his right eyebrow as if it never healed correctly. Suddenly my throat feels as if it's on fire.

"I know you want to talk but you need to feed" he says walking over.

I cock my head to the side in confusion, "f-feed" I groan out.

"You're a vampire now tesoro"

As he sits next to me the burning intensifies, my mouth salivates, and there's a low thumping ringing in my ear. "Move" I grunt.

"Follow the instinct tesoro."

I move closer following the thumping to a vein on the right side of his neck. There's a slight pain in my gums and I reach up feeling sharp canines. Instantly I bite down on the vein screaming my name. Teo groans gripping my waist tightly and I moan as his warm blood flows down my throat calming the burning sensation. It's fucking heavenly.

"Tesoro enough" he groans out. I shake my head continuing to drink. "Now." I pull away reluctantly. "Now seal it like I do to you." I lick the two puncture wounds before moving off of him.

He eyes me, "how are you feeling?"

"Fine." I walk over to the full length mirror.

I'm in nothing but Teo's shirt giving me the opportunity to look over my body. There's no scars from my kidnapping. My skin is glowing and rejuvenated, no more acne scars or blemishes. My hair is shiny, full, and slightly longer. This is why all vampires look good. I lift up the shirt gazing at my stomach from all angles. My worst fear realized and suddenly I'm filled with a white hot rage. I grab the mirror tossing it in Teo's direction.

"Shit!" he yells dodging it quickly.

"He's gone!" I yell.

"I know tesoro and I'm sorry!"

"No!" I scream tears rolling down my cheeks. "You're a fucking liar!" I can't help but to push him with all my might and to my surprise he crashes into the wall on the opposite side of the room. I look at my hands in utter disbelief.

He groans struggling to stand to his feet. "You're stronger now tesoro."

"It's your fucking fault!" I scream using the back of my hand to wipe at the heavy streams going down my cheeks. "You knew you were a danger to my life and his and didn't tell me!" I close the space between us. "How could you not tell me you were in the mob! The fucking mob Matteo!" I send a punch to his face.

He groans spitting out blood, "you're right it's my fault, I should've protected you both and I didn't."

I glare at him through my tears, "were you ever going to tell me?" He says nothing intensifying my rage. I scream loudly seeing nothing but red as I land a hit to his stomach making him double over. It's his fault that I was raped and beaten endlessly for hours on end. Two kicks to his side before I pull on his hair pulling his face up punching him again in the face. It's his fucking fault that our baby is gone. I stomp on his leg before punching him in his chest twice. If Antonio would've never told me then I would've never known for God knows how long. I push his head back into the wall as more tears fall from my eyes. What does that say about our relationship? My grip on his hair tightens as I pull his hair harder landing a punch to his face and a kick to his side. Suddenly I'm pulled off him and I fight to get loose. Everything is his fucking fault!
