i've always been comfortable with being alone. in my loneliness, i am really one with myself. i'm free from the expectations of people who don't ever care about my well being. being alone, i give myself the honesty i can't depend on other people to give me. being alone, i am reminded that i am only human. and no matter how hard i try, i will never be perfect. and that's fine because i've learned there's no such thing.
