Lonnie giggled noiselessly as she silently ran along side Jay. They had escaped from the Cotillion and Lonnie had no idea where Jay was taking her. But after the trip to the Isle, him stepping down from captaincy of the Swords and Shields team, Lonnie trusted him blindly.
Never in her wildest dreams, Lonnie had thought that she would ever trust a VK. But guess things change.
Because right now the daughter of Fa Mulan and Li Shang was hopelessly in love with the son of Jafar.
"We're here." Jay whispered in her ear.
Lonnie looked around her to realise that they were in the woods. They were in a clearing at the edge of a cliff. It gave the perfect view of the forest beneath and around her. She had never been there in her entire life and she regretted not finding this place before. The moon lit up the place in beautiful white light. There was a tent there too.
"When did you discover this place?" Lonnie asked in awe.
"Sometime ago. It's my happy place. I spend some nights here, hence the tent." Jay laughed.
He was a womaniser, everyone knew that. He never cared about love. But since he met Lonnie, everything changed for the former thief. Her bravery on the Isle, beauty, grace, everything about her had blown him off, and Lonnie was the only thing on mind. And for the first time, someone stole something from the master thief. And it happened to be his heart, stolen by a certain warrior princess.
"Thank you for bringing me to this place Jay." Lonnie said hugging him, her face few centimetres from his.
Jay looked deeply in the eyes of the girl whom he started loving so much, and he could not help it but lean in and kiss her.
She drove him crazy. To the edge of insanity. He had never experienced anything like this ever before. And all he wanted was her.
Things weren't much different for Lonnie. All her life she had been trained to be a warrior. Love was not a top priority. But Jay changed it. But he had done what he was best at. He stole her heart, and left her completely dazed. She could not fight back the feelings anymore. Her needs were as bad as Jay's and they had to satisfy it
The kiss intensified, and things escalated pretty quickly.
...
Ben looked at the couples dancing. Lonnie and Jay's absence did not go unnoticed by him, but he was just happy that Jay had found someone who cared so much for him.
But what was disturbing was the absence of his girlfriend, Mal. He looked around hoping so see her. But she wasn't with Evie or Carlos. He knew that deep inside, she was disappointed.
But Ben knew exactly where she would be.
..
Mal looked at the moon light up the entire land. It was all her mistake. If she hadn't run away back to the Isle, nothing like this would've happened.
Suddenly she felt someone's presence next to her. Instinctively, she was ready to beat up the intruder, however she stopped in time when she saw it was Ben.
"Ben! You scared me! Don't do this ever again. I could've hurt you!" Mal rambled on.
"Hey, but you didn't. Relax." Ben said. She was nervous. He could sense it.
"Uh. Whatever. Just don't- hey wait. How did you even know I was here." Mal asked raising an eyebrow.
"It was a wild guess. But I sensed that you took a deep liking for this place on our first date." Ben said as he sat down besides Mal.
True. The Enchanted Lake had caught the interest of Mal since their first date. She came their often. Here she could be whom she wanted to be.
"Seems like I need a new escape place." Mal said with a small smile, to which Ben laughed.
