Ahhhhh, Arab superstitions. Very very ....very interesting. I know every parent believe in different things and used to teach it to their kids, so here are some my parents taught me ⤵️

1) The first and probably most popular is flipping over a shoe.
-When I was a kid my parents used to yell at me all the time if my shoes were flipped over and the bottom part was facing up. Because apparently this was disrespectful towards Allah.
YO THIS HAD ME FEELIN SO GUILTY AS A KID. Toooooo this day if I see a show flipped over I have to flip it 😭😂 literally no matter where I am... at a friends house or what ever I JUST HAVE TO😭

2) Stepping over someone if they are laying on the ground.
-O👏🏼M👏🏼G
My parents told me that if you step over someone while laying down they would stop growing. Then, you would have to step back over them to reverse it lmfao.
Omg maybe that's why I'm so short... ALRIGHT WHO'S THE ONE WHO CURSED ME.

3) Abu Kease.
-Ahhhh Abu kease! I never actually experienced this one , but one of my friends told me about it. Apparently when ever they were being bad , a man/ monster by the name of Abu Kease would come and take them away. THAT'S SCARY FOR A LITTLE PERSON MAN 😭

4) when your mama and your khaltos are gossiping and you sneeze. Hold on keep reading !😂(idk if this counts as a superstition)
-I don't know if this is just  my weird family but everytimeeeee my mom and her sisters or friends  are gossiping and someone sneezes they say "see! It's true" LIKE NO I JUST HAVE REALLY BAD LUCK AND SNEEZE WHEN Y'ALL ARE GOSSIPING.

5) entering house with right foot
-EVEY SINGLE TIME MY FAMILY AND I MOVED , MY MOM WOULD MAKE ME STEP INSIDE WITH MY RIGHT FOOT TO BRING GOOD LUCK INTO THE HOME.
One time I was about to step in with the wrong foot and she literally pulled me back and was like "la2 la2 la2 habibi wiz your right foot" 😭😂

6) The evil eye
-I'm sure you all know what the evil eye is right! You have to wear the evil eye to keep away the bad luck. On necklaces, bracelets, in your car ect. ect. My family doesn't really take this one as seriously as they used to, but when I was a kid holy shmokes they used to always make me wear it. (Notice how I didn't talk all crazy and in caps wit this one cuz y'all know im low key scared👀😂)

That's all I can't think of for right now guys!! If you have any superstitions that your crazy Arab family believes in leave them in the comments and maybe I'll make a part 2 and tag you!! ❤️
