Chapter Thirteen

Skylar's POV

"Their lips are disconnected." Luke sings in the tone of Disconnected as me and Joe pull apart.

The crowd and I laughed and I ran over to Luke and hugged him.

"I missed you Sky. How come you didn't come home? Abby and I were so fucking worried." He whispers and I shush him.

"Hey! How many times do I have to tell you not to cuss!" I laughed and playfully hit him.

"About six million." He says as I pull away from the hug. I look over to the side of the stage and see Zoe and Alfie, I smiled, waved, and mouthed 'hi.' . They smiled and waved back. They were holding hands.

I looked over to Connor and gave him a fist bump. This was the only thing I was going to do.

I turned to the crowd and said: "Woah..."

Everybody laughed and I cleared my throat. "Well. Let's thank Luke Hemmings, Connor Franta, and Joe Sugg for coming out here..." The crowd went crazy.

After the main stage thing, I got off the stage and hugged Zoe.

"I'm so sorry for acting like a big jerk for the past five months."

"It's alright Sky. It doesn't matter anymore. You'll always be my best friend."

"What about Louise?"

"She's my chummy."

"Thanks you guys."

"Your welcome Skylar." Alfie said, pulling me into a hug.

I pulled back and glared at him. I was still mad at him.

-An Hour Later-

"Day one of VidCon is finally over!" I screamed.

"Thank God. But we still have tomorrow."

"Is this what YouTubers do? I just used to sit in my room, watch peoples' VidCon vlogs and think 'Wow. That's barely what I go through everyday at school' but now I realise that you only record half of your day. And-"

"Sky. Sky. Sky. Oh my God, Sky!" Grace cheered, repeatedly hitting my arm.

"What?" I asked, annoyed.

"You have 1,005,729 subscribers!" Grace screamed. My jaw dropped and I let loud squeals come out of my mouth.

"We have to celebrate more than just making a video. We have to go do something."

"Let me call and see if the YouTubers are doing a gathering." Grace suggested. I nodded with a huge grin still plastered on my face.

"Congratulations, Sky." Jim said.

"Congrats, girl." Tyler said.

"Oh my God, congratulations Skylar!" Tanya yelled.

I laughed. "Thanks guys."

"What kind of celebratory video are you filming Skylar?"

"I don't know. But- Aww shit." I muttered under my breath.

"What is it?" Grace asked.

"I didn't film my day!" I frowned. "I don't have a video to put up tonight!"

"It's alright. Just make a video and do what I did. With the challenges and where if you lose, you get a punishment." Joe suggested, holding my hand.

"What you did for 500k?" I asked and Joe nodded.

"Okay. Will you guys challenge me? I want to make it big, so all of you come by my hotel tomorrow to film it, please?"

"Sure." Jim said.

"Okay." Marcus replied.

"Yeah." Joey said.

"Definitely." Tanya smiled.

"We'll see." Grace joked.

"I will." Luke smiled.

"I'm bringing the booze!" Tyler screamed, making me jump at his sudden outburst.

I laughed. "So, Luke. How'd you get access to the stage and everything? You aren't a YouTuber."

"Well, actually..." Luke trailed off, showing his phone to all of us.

My mouth was wide open when I saw his 'LukeThePenguin' YouTube page. It had 6.5 million subscribers.

"How have I not heard of your channel before?"

"Hardly everyone has. They think I'm to busy with songs, the band, and the tour to make YouTube videos."

"Speaking of them, where are they?"

"Calum and Finn are back at the hotel room. Michael and Ashton are with these girls exploring Anaheim."

"Oh. Do they know?"

"About my channel? Surprisingly, no."

The waiter gave us our food and walked away. Should I tell him that he has a toilet paper coming from his shoes? Nah...

After we ate, Grace and I invited Luke and Joe to come over. Luke and Joe in the same room... Haha.
