32- A Dream

Skylar's POV

"What do you mean we've only know each other for two weeks?" I panicked.

"What's wrong? Zoe! Alfie! Skylar's awake!" Joe yelled to the door.

A few seconds later, four feet walked in front of me and I looked up to see Zoe and Alfie.

"Z-Zoe?" I asked, backing away.

"Yeah, it's me." Zoe had a confused look on her face.

"What's the matter, Sky?"

"You," I pointed to Zoe. "I thought you were dead..."

"Dead? Skylar... your scaring me." Zoe gulped.

"Am I dreaming?" I mumbled.

"No, this is very real... see?" Alfie smiled, thumping me on the head.

"Ow Alfie!" I rubbed my head. "That hurt."

"Well, that's what cousins are for!" Alfie cackled.

"Cousins? Alfie you aren't my cousin..."

"Uhm... yes I am. Why would your brother send you over here for two weeks with someone who you aren't related to?"

"Connor?"

"What about Connor? He went go back to America two days ago."

"He's my brother..." I said. Zoe and Alfie started to laugh.

"No he isn't. Guys, stop making fun of her. Skylar. Was it possibly a dream? I mean, you've been out for a long time."

"I don't know. I have to go use the restroom." I got up and walked to the restroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror and pinched myself.

Was it all a dream? I mean, it all felt so real...

I turned to my side and looked at my stomach. The baby bump is gone...

My eyes looked everywhere and they stopped at the silver pencil sharpener blade on the counter.

I sighed and locked the door and grabbed the blade. It's the only way to find out if this is real.

I sighed before digging the blade into my skin, wincing at the pain before moving it across in a straight line, sighing at how much I missed this.

Joe's POV

"What was that about? See Joe, I told you that you shouldn't have proposed..." Alfie trailed off. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever Alfie she still didn't say no." I said.

"We'll go check on her." Zoe shooed me away.

I got up and walked toward the bathroom door and knocked.

"Sky, you okay?"

No answer.

"Sky?"

No answer.

This is where I freaked out. I pulled and yanked the door knob and knocked on the door really hard.

"Skylar!" I screamed.

No answer.

"Zoe! Alfie! Skylar isn't answering!"

Zoe and Alfie ran in and Alfie knocked.

"Sky?" He asked.

"That's it!" I screamed, before kicking the door down and seeing Skylar in the bathtub, with her arms covered in blood.
