I quickened my pace when the silver clouds started to gather in the sky. The sound of the thunder alerting me that the sky was going to cry soon.

I'll make it in time.

Talking about luck. Luck and I can never be friends. It started to drizzle when I saw the coffee shop across the street. People were dashing for a cover and opened their umbrellas as the fluffy clouds kept on spatting out their beads of water. As for me, I had to use my hands as a cover because of this unexpected event. To make it worst, the traffic light for the pedestrian turned red before I can across the road.

Great. I'll get drenched first before make it to the shop.

I was cursing my luck when suddenly I cannot felt the rain droplets tapping my head and shoulders. I looked up and saw a transparent umbrella covering me. Instinctively, I glanced at the owner beside me only to be greeted by cute dimples on a fair man in a almost turtle-neck black shirt.

I nodded at him as a sign of gratitude and gladly (read shamelessly) squeezing myself to take a shelter under the stranger's umbrella

I nodded at him as a sign of gratitude and gladly (read shamelessly) squeezing myself to take a shelter under the stranger's umbrella. The man emitted a faint warmth, just like any other human in this world which I welcomed the need of it in this chilly weather. As the curiosity got better of me, I carefully peeked at the man (checking out to put it blatantly) while waiting for the light turned green.

The attractive eyes, sharp nose and a cherry-like luscious lips complemented his pretty face even though there was a scar on his right cheek. To top it all, his hairstyle was neatly done and suited him very well. Before my eyes feasting on him further down, our gazes met. I instantly shift my gaze to the road, awkwardly looking around for something.

What an eye candy. Maybe, I'm not that unlucky today.

The sound of the green man blinking reminded us to cross the street and we did just that. After crossing the road, I told him that my destination was the coffee shop and thanked him for his kindness. He smiled, showing his pearl teeth which almost made my heart turn into a puddle. He bid me a goodbye before walking away, leaving me staring at his back with a wide grin plastering on my face.

Hope to see you again.
