Jim -

You walked by, happiness written in your atmosphere. The job was all yours, your heels clicking the ground, echoing as you walked by the police men who were obviously breaking the sexual harassment policy. There eyes wandered, even Harvey's until Jim brutally punched his arm, getting him out of his trance.

"Well, aren't you jealous?" He laughed, taking a bite into his donut. Jim just shook his head and continued reading into the file he had of a victim, trying to figure out clues, what not. He felt your presence come by, as you passed he looked at you and offered you a smile which you gladly returned.

Harvey looked at the small quiet interaction between the two. Smiling to himself, he shook his head, knowing what awaits for both of them if they ever got close.

"You sure she's into cops? Last time she was here, she seemed afraid of every person in a blue uniform." By now, Jim closed the file in his hand, his eyes on little old Harvey.

"Fortunately, I don't wear a blue uniform to work. Now, go on and hog on your donut there." Jim gave him one of those awkward quick smiles. He stood up to check on the victim, taking him to the Medical Examiner.

"Detective Gordon!" Edward chirped, interrupting his steps before he could even make it through the door. Jim rolled his eyes before Edward could see and turned around.

"Yes, Ed?"

"How can you make one disappear?" Another riddle of his. Jim didn't even think about it by how he automatically gave up.

"I don't know, Ed." He said, sighing.

"Just add a g and then it's Gone." Ed smiled still not leaving.

"Anyways, the new medical examiner is a very kind woman. What do you think?" His smile still not leaving his face as Jim chuckled a bit, giving Ed a look.

Ed's smile quickly wiped off.

"I'm sorry, Mr.Bullock paid me $10 to ask you that." Of course he would. Jim thought. He shook his head, putting his hand on Edward's shoulder.

"I do think she's a kind woman and a beautiful one but this is work and I wouldn't break that policy and make her uncomfortable." Ed only stood somewhat uncomfortable, not really giving a damn. Just happy he got his $10 fair and square.

"Such a gentleman." All attention went to the source of the voice and giggle. Jim's hand still on Ed's shoulder as both pair of eyes on you.

Edward -

"Ms.Kringle, a word, please?" She excused herself from Tom, the cop giving Ed a questioning look.

"I met a--uh mathematician, she's marvelous. Anyways, you're a woman right? T-that was a dum-" Before Ed could finish, Kristen cut him off with her own sentence.

"What is it, Mr.Nygma?" Ed quickly took a deep breath, slightly embarrassed by what he'll ask.

"What's a g-good first date?" Kristen slapped her hands together, seeing how flustered this mathematician made him.

"Well, you have to give me a little more information about this woman that's got you all hooked around her finger." She giggled as a deeper blush took on his face.

"Well, she's a (Z/s), 4'11" and a professor. She loves dogs and coffee, too much coffee for my liking. Oh! She's a book worm and she loves to hear my math riddles. Always gives off a perfect answer." Ms.Kringle seemed shocked at the sudden information, taking it all in.
