Red vs Blue Season 1: Male Oc

Rvb S1 E1 "Why Are We Here?"

In the middle of nowhere, specifically in a Canyon stood two bases on either side. One was known as Blue Base and the other was known as Red Base which currently had three soldiers standing on top of the base and appear to be wearing advance armour.

The one who stood in the middle was clad in maroon armour, the other in orange armour standing on the far right was a fattass, and lastly the person on the far left was wearing crimson armour. These three went by Simmons, Grif and Leo and they all continued to stand in silence, staring out into the open Canyon. Until Simmons shifts his head in Grif's direction.

Simmons: Hey.

Grif turns to look at Simmons, while Leo quietly listens in.

Grif: Yeah?

Simmons: You ever wonder why were here?

Grif: It's one of life's great mysteries isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night.

Simmons stare at him weirdly and turns to Leo who's currently sharing the same thoughts as him.

Leo: What the hell was all that about?!

Grif: Uuuuh?

Leo: He meant why were here in this canyon!

Grif: Oh uh... yeah.

Simmons: What was all that stuff about god?

Grif: Uh... hm? Nothing.

Simmons: You wanna talk about it?

Grif: No.

Leo: You sure?

Grif: Yeah.

Simmons: Seriously though, why are we out here? As far as I can tell, it's just a box canyon in the middle of nowhere. No way in or out.

Leo points up at the sky.

Leo: Unless you where to fly in, just saying.

Simmons: That's not what I meant Leo, but the only reason that we set up a Red Base here, is because they have a Blue Base over there. And the only reason they have a Blue Base over there, is because we have a Red Base here.

Grif: Yeah. That's because we're fighting each other.

Leo: And why were Red and Blue.

Grif: Smartass.

Simmons: But I mean, even if we were to pull out today, and if they would come take our base, they would have two bases in the middle of a box canyon. Whoopdee-fucking-doo.

Grif: What's up with that anyway? I mean, I signed on to fight some aliens. Next thing I know, Master Chief blows up the whole Covenant armada and I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, fighting a bunch of blue guys.

Leo: Are you saying you would prefer to fight aliens with advanced weapons, then a bunch of blue guys?

Grif: ....touché.

Cliffs
Nearby two blue soldiers are currently watching Grif, Leo and Simmons from atop a cliff. The one wearing cobalt armour and wielding a sniper rifle goes by Church and the other standing behind him in aqua armour is Tucker.

Tucker: What're they doing?

Church slowly turns around to face Tucker, lowering his rifle.

Church: (Aggravated) What?

Tucker: I said, "What are they doing now?"

Church: (Frustrated) God damn, I'm getting so sick of answering that question!

Tucker: (Defensively) You have the fucking rifle, I can't see shit. Don't start to bitch at me because I'm not gonna just sit up here and play with my di-

Church: Okay, okay, look... they're just standing there and talking, okay?

As Church continues speaking his tone starts becoming angrier with each second.

Church: That's all they're doing. That's all they ever do, is just stand there and talk. That's what they were doing last week, that's what they were doing when you asked me five minutes ago. So, five minutes from now, when you ask me, "What are they doing?" my answer's gonna be, "They're still just talking, and they're still just standing there!"

They both fall silent, whilst Tucker stares at the ground. He looks back up at Church, who's still glaring at him.

Tucker: ...What're they talking about?

Church: ...You know what? I fucking hate you.

Red Base
Back over to Leo, Grif and Simmons who're still talking to each other.

Grif: Talk about a waste of resources. I mean, we should be out there finding new and intelligent forms of life... you know, fight them.

Simmons: Yeah, no shit. That's why they should put us in charge.

Leo: I'd just quit if you guys were put in charge!

A soldier in plain red armour runs up to the front of the base, just below were the three of them are standing.

Sarge: Ladies! And Leo. Front and center on the double!

Simmons: Fuck!

Leo: Coming Sarge!
