I looked around frantically in search for the brooding dark eyes and perfectly styled hair that sent me these intensifying notes.

As per usual he's nowhere to be seen, making me think I'm going absolutely stir crazy. I hastily shove the notes in the pocket on my shorts as Luke approaches the table carrying a tray with our food on. He placed the brown tray on the table causing it to shake slightly, my eyes were still darting around the room looking for a glimpse of Jai...he had to be here, how could he have gotten away so fast?

"You okay?" Luke laughs studying my expression

"Yeah fine" I lie and grab my box and chicken nuggets and fries from the tray

"Someone's hungry?" Luke laughs again as I begin shoving the chips into my mouth

"Let's just say this morning I didn't have much of an appetite" I reply awarding him with a slight grin

Luke's smile is bright and genuine which is such a contrast from Jai's, you can never tell when Jai is smiling because he's genuinely happy or whether he's done something mischievous that he knows will come to light soon, it's usually the latter, I don't think I have yet once seen Jai genuinely happy which makes me wonder if he's ever been happy.

"I got you a diet coke, I forgot to ask what drink you wanted I hope that's alright" Luke asked offering me the coke

Before I could reply someone grabs a chair and sits at the side of our table

"I'll have it, she prefers Fanta" Jai states with a clear smirk etched on his lips

"What are you doing here?" I growl

"No, the question is what are you doing here?" He raises his eyebrow

My expression is blank, I can't believe his attitude. He's the one that walked out on me yet he's the one questioning me.

"I came here to spend some quality time with my twin brother" Jai laughs waving his hand towards Luke

"Stop it" I bark

"No it's fine, I'm used to his asshole behaviour" Luke shrugs I can't help but feel sorry for the boy who's other half is an evil psychopath

"Asshole behaviour?" Jai snorts

"Yes asshole behaviour Jai" Luke replies sternly staring deeply at his brother

It feels as if the temperature has raised in the room about fifty degrees, the tension in the atmosphere was so thick it could be cut with a knife

"Jai I think you should leave I whisper" silently praying that he doesn't cause a scene

"No he should leave" he turns to me for a brief second before turning back to Luke

"No Jai, you should leave" I reply harshly I feel a little bad for embarrassing him in front of his brother but he deserves it.

He has no right to tell Luke to leave; I came here with him not Jai.

"What?" Jai growls turning his intense murderous glare to me

"I told you to leave" I reply more confidently than I feel, I return his murderous glare although I'm aware that I don't hold it with the same sincerity as he does

Luke looks awkward as me and Jai share our angry exchange

"It's okay I can-" Luke begins but I cut him off

"No I came here with you" I state completely aware of Jai's intent glare upon me

"I'm staying here with you until we're ready to leave" I offered him a small smile to which he returned Jai looked down at his fists which were now balled by his sides, he looked as if he was debating with himself, his eyes dead set on his fists and his brows furrowed in concentration
