Inside A Book

I opened a book and I left the world before me,

Dragons and mountain with fairies I could see.

I left behind my tiring job at the hospital,

To go to a dream where everything is possible.

A dream you can choose to be a new normal life,

Or a time during Vietnam war with guns and knives.

A dream with lines are pictures and words,

Or a verse of where the author is heard.

So get into a book, it can be big or it can be small.

Then start reading with no worries at all.

With no distractions near, Let your mind be at rest

So when  into a book may your soul sleep best
