Imagine spinning round and round, really fast and then stopping suddenly.
You know those waves you feel in your skull, like all the weight of your body shifted to your head?

That's exactly how Luke felt.

He couldn't focus his eyes on anything, the screeching had stopped.

Everything was blurry, he knew where he was. He didn't know how, but he knew he remembered this place from his last trip here.

He stood on the banks of a slow moving river,he knew that river.
He almost downed in it.

The river Orisha.

A long, wide river. On the surface it looks like any calm, peaceful river you'd see.
But inside......... Ughh.
The thought made him shudder.

He knew exactly what was lurking beneath that sparkling surface.
And it wasn't pretty.

Lucas..... There it was again.
This time the voice didn't come from his head.

He scanned the surrounding.
It was night, where? He had no idea.
It looked like a beach, judging by the position of the moon it was about midnight.

But how?

It was about 7:30pm when he and Emma were talking just now. Before he blacked out and found himself here.

Set us free.... He heard it clearer this time. From the river.

"I'm going crazy, this has to be a dream." He tried lie to himself.

A very realistic dream... He said to himself.

The water surface rippled. Something was stirring.
Something big.

He felt a chill, a cold wind blew.

You imprisoned us here, free us Lucas....

The throbbing was back. He pressed his palms to his ears.

The voices aren't real...... He reminded himself.

"For the millionth time!!." He yelled back, furious "I don't know what you're talking about. Where am I? What is this place!!? Who are you?!"

Free us or die!!!!!.... Was the only reply he got. Then the flash.

"Luke!!.. Luke wake up!!" Abbey was shaking his shoulders. He was drenched, sweat? Eww.

"Oh thank God!!" He heard Emma sigh in the background.

"Luke, are you ok? You... You..." Abbey's words seemed to be choking her.

"I'm fine Abbey, I just blacked out for a minute there."

The silence that hung in the air was so thick you could slice it with a knife.
Their faces had gone pale.

It was Abbey who spoke.
"Luke.... Its 2am, You've been out for 6 hours" She said slowly. "and you weren't breathing"
