I knew you
Somewhere outside of this reality
I met you
Next to the golden sunsets the horizon made
I loved you
Ages before the poets ever wielded their pens
I paint you;
the sky as the canvas,the world as the palette
I write for you
Like a poet's first encounter with love
I sing for you
With a song of sweet surrender
I'll hold you
Like the earth grasps the trees
I'll kiss you
Beyond the dying waves and the new
And I'll love you-
Until the last star shines and true.
