Prologue

It was a fairly cool autumn day. The sun was nowhere in sight and grey clouds filled the sky creating an ambience that left you feeling like curling up with a good book while the soon to come rain rolled down your window. It was one of those days no one really went out in. When the world seem to stand still. Like you're living in a black and white photo. Dull red and yellow crumpled leaves scattered across the street in the airy breeze. Johnny Glass just placed the last piece of his latest invention together and now admired the beautiful craftsmanship in front of him. While the world stood still he was on top as a smile plastered on his face. He had only in mind to give it to his 6 year old daughter when she turned 16. Placing it into a box, he wrapped it up and sat it on his desk with a little letter he had written a while ago for her. He turned in his rolly chair when he heard the door squeak open that was in need of some serious oil. The smile on his face widened even more as he watched his little girl run in with a bright smile on her small round face, dimples evident in her cheeks as she looked up at her dad. As Johnny stood up he embraced his little girl and carried her out the room and to the living room where his wife, Claire Glass sat in her favorite chair by the window curled up with her book like always. As soon as she saw her husband and daughter come into the room she looked from her book and a smile plastered on her lips. She stood up and took her daughter from her husband. She looked tired as ever so she took her up to her room. As soon as she laid her down on the bed she felt a change in the air. The familiarity she has become used to when someone is traveling from another time. She rushed down stairs only to see her husband disappearing right before her eyes. It was too late. Calling up her dad she informed him of the situation asked for her to take care of her daughter. He didn't mind watching her but was reluctant to let his only daughter go off in a suicide mission to another time. She bid him a farewell and made it her soul purpose to save and find her husband as soon as possible so she could come back to her daughter but keeping in mind that she might never see her daughter again, and hoping her daughter would never get dragged into this....
