What Becomes of Us // JungHope & VKook

Chapter I

"Jungkook! Wait up!" Yoongi was jogging to catch up with him. Jungkook had no idea due to the loud music blaring in his ears through his flimsy earbuds. "Earth to Jungkook!" All he saw was Yoongi's pale fingers wave around in his face.
"Suga! I didn't see you," Jungkook chuckled. "My music." He nervously took out his earbuds.
"I know. Are you headed to meet the others?" Yoongi playfully nudged the man but maybe too playfully. Jungkook ended up losing his balance.
"Suga!" He scolded him exasperatedly but Yoongi didn't care. He was nearly on his knees- he was laughing so hard. "Anyway.. before you ever so rudely pushed me- yes, I am on my way to see the others." Jungkook rolled his eyes and strolled the streets of Seoul, South Korea with his friend and band mate.

A few minutes later, Jungkook and Yoongi have met with the others at Braai Republic- a restaurant they occasionally ordered from.
"So what was this meeting about, Namjoon?" Jungkook immediately spoke up as he pulled a chair out to seat himself.
"We need to discuss Keone's dance moves. Well.. our dance moves. His moves are great but we need to tie them in with our latest song. This meeting isn't urgent, I also wanted to see you guys," R.M. gave a precious smile and everyone returned it.
"I'll order us our food, you guys catch up now." Jin waves his hands as if telling them to run along before he explains to their waitress of their order. Everyone seemed to be talking and joking around except Yoongi.
"Yoongi, what's wrong?" Hoseok has a worrisome, pouty expression on his face.
"Nothing.. have you guys seen the hate we've been getting lately? I mean.. they think we lip sing." Yoongi had his arms crossed and eyes glued to the floor but at the sound of his question, there was silence.
"There's always gonna be a few people who doubt our undeniably amazing skills Yoongi." Jin winked, rubbing his friend's hand.
"Besides, you're so much stronger than to let some little hate rumor get to you. It'll blow over soon. We have that performance coming up and we'll show them. You'll show them," Jungkook had wrapped his arms around Yoongi's waist and because of that, he earned a glance from Hoseok. Everyone in the group agreed.
"You're right. I'm the Min Yoongi. I'm Suga." Yoongi stands as he exclaims with his hands on his hips and everyone began to chant his name and clap for him.
"That's our Yoongi!"

After an hour, everyone had eaten and are in a shared van going home.
"Oh Eomma! I'm so full!" Jin groaned causing the rest of the members to chuckle. Jin sat in the passengers side with their driver while R.M., Tae and Jimin sat in the first row and Yoongi, Hoseok and Jungkook sat in the very back. Yoongi had his earbuds in but they weren't loud so he was aware of what everyone else was saying when they did say something. Hoseok and Jungkook were playing a game on their phones.
"Rats!" Jungkook huffed and leaned his head back.
"Lemme see." Hoseok helped himself to Jungkook's phone, his fingers briefly brushing across Jungkook's. Jungkook jumped at the sudden feeling. "Oop." Hoseok laughed. "Why did you jump?"
Jungkook shrugged. "Startled me.."
Hoseok knew why, smiling, he went back to his and Jungkook's phone.

They arrived back at their home and everyone started to plop into different seats in the lounging room. Jin took a beanbag, R.M. took a stool from their island kitchen area that foresaw their lounging room, Yoongi plopped on the left side of the couch while Hoseok took the middle and Jimin took the right. Jungkook sat in the remaining chair and Tae took his lap.
"We gotta capture this! It's Vkook in action!" Jin exclaimed, pulling out his phone and snapping a fake photo. Everyone erupted in laughter, especially Hoseok but it wasn't genuine. He was jealous and Jungkook noticed.
Jungkook patted Tae to signal him to get up. "I'll be in my room."
"Tired already Maknae?" Tae frowned.
"I'll see you soon. You too, Hoseok." Jungkook smiled.
"But I sleep with you too!" Jimin pouted, standing up in protest.
"Why don't we all sleep together?" Yoongi smiled wide. No one protested so it was final.

By time it came for bed, they piled into Tae's king sized one. Each of them were pressed together and covered, almost all of them sound asleep. It went Jimin, Tae, Hoseok, Jungkook, Yoongi, R.M. and Jin. The two who were awake was Hoseok and R.M..
"Don't peg me for a fool, I know you love him."
Hoseok blinked, hoping R.M. doesn't know he's awake.
"I know you're awake by your breathing. It's okay Hoseok. We're your best friends.. I just wish it'd be something you'd talk about."
"What are you talking about?" He lied.
R.M. sighed at his friend's response before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
Hoseok was left with his thoughts that night.
