Eleanor walked to the lady at the front.
"Hello, what name is your reservation under?"
"Janiel Keen."
"Table for two?"
Eleanor nodded.
The lady walked Eleanor to a table right in front of the window.
"You are the first one to arrive, need anything else?"
"No thanks, that's okay."
After the lady had left, Eleanor grew impatient. Eleanor's paranoia started to increase when she felt eyes staring at her.
Eleanor turned to find a guy staring intensely at her. Almost menacing-like. Eleanor began feeling uneasily, her heart began to beat faster by the second.
She turned to look at the guy again, and every single time, he was staring at her. She smiled at the guy, but he turned around pretending not to have seen her.
What seemed hours to Eleanor, were just two lengthy minutes.
Eleanor turned to find the guy staring at Eleanor with a frown in his face.
Eleanor did a little jump when the phone in her purse started vibrating.
Janiel was calling.
"Hello?" Eleanor whispered.
"Hey El, Whe-"
Janiel seemed so jolly and eager to see her again, yet Eleanor took no chances.
"Janiel! Do not come."
"What! Why? Don't you wanna see me?"
"No. I mean yes. I mean..." Eleanor took a deep breath trying to calm herself down, "don't come in here superman, jut don't."
"But I am already outside. "
"Just, don't come in okay? I think there are stalkers in here."
"Stalkers! Why would there be stalkers here?"
"I don't know, just, don't come in okay? It's not safe."
"Okay El, then, bye."
"bye."
Janiel turned around and left the place reluctantly.
Eleanor sighed as she layed her phone faced down on the table.
The guy that had been looking at her, suddenly stood up. Eleanor bolted up as well. Eleanor could swear the guy was going walk her direction and harm her, so she got up ready to put up a fight. She felt embarrassed to see the guy was greeting some other guy that had just entered the restaurant.
Eleanor sat back down slowly.
The guy just gave her a puzzled look.
Eleanor tried not to seem so disappointed.
She was really hoping to see Janiel today, and thanks to her huge paranoia, she ruined it all.
She tried to prevent the tears from running as her phone vibrated once again.
Eleanor looked at the message she had just received from Janiel.
If there are stalkers in Restaurants, then allow me to take you to the movies, I'll pick you up at seven.
Eleanor thought to herself, better not mess this one up as well Eleanor, before she replied to Janiel.
Sure thing. see you then Superman.
Eleanor stood up from her chair, and she ran home.
