The bus got to the station, and Eleanor got in it. It was a really nice bus as well. She almost hoped an Effervescent young boy her age with jolly eyes would shout with joy again, "Wow! Awesome, this is one of those fancy busses with restrooms in it." But Eleanor knew that Janiel would no longer be with her.
She sat next to the emergency window, and she opened the next letter.
My darling!
How are you? I hope you are fine.
Little Rock Arkansas here you go!
For your next task...
Visit the Museum of Discovery.
But also keep in mind that there's a Denouement later throughout the letters.
I found this Polaroid the other day. I felt like you should have it.
Ring a bell girl?
Love,
Eugenia.
Eleanor looked at the Polaroid picture.
It was at a school's party. the picture was of the whole place taken from an angle that showed the whole place.
Of course Eleanor remembered it. How could She not?
There were kids everywhere, and drinks, and snacks, and slushies, and games, and raffles, and Eleanor loved it, and Ubel hated it.
So They went. It had not even been a month after Eleanor's parents, well... you know...
So Ubel bought Eleanor tickets, and he told her to do anything but have even a tiny bit of a slushie at all.
Eleanor did as she was told.
She had an excessive amount of fun. And she did not try any of the slushies at all. She knew better than to contradict Ubel.
And Eleanor was glad for not having any slushies.
Ubel had added some kind of Anticoagulant liquid to the slushies mixtures. She believe several died, and there was a huge variety of ill kids who required hospitalization.
She never actually knew the meaning of why Ubel did such a thing. He never actually told Eleanor. Eleanor guessed the Denouement was something related to the unknown reason.
Eleanor folded the letter and the Polaroid and she placed them in her backpack.
Someone else had sat in the other seat next to her.
It was a little girl, two pony tails in her sides, her hair was stretched all the way down her butt, which to Eleanor was pretty long, and she had a journal in her hand.
She looked at Eleanor and smiled.
"Hey."
Eleanor smiled back."Hello."
Her eyes went wide open as she looked at Eleanor with interest.
"If you HAD to give up one of your senses," She questioned, "which one would it be?"
Eleanor Just stared at the girl.
"I beg your pardon?"
The girl frowned in focus.
"Yeah, you know, the five senses? Hearing, seeing, tasting, smel-"
"No, i know what they are, it's just..." Eleanor gave a light laugh, "You caught me off guard."
