ELISE

Six days after Skylar regained her concsious back, she was allowed to be released with the confirmation of one hundred percent heal, she probably could run for few miles as soon as she steps out of the hospital

The thick of the air of loneliness in our home without my wife was now gone, although I had Mady to company me, but it wasn't as the same as Skylar's warm presence

Ever since the news of me pregnant sent to her ears, she never ever let me do any chores eventhough I had insisted her that I would be just fine

My love did the cook, laundry, cleaning, bath the dog, walk him, you name it..

And that was when I was only three months, now that I was almost six, she won't even let my feet touch the bathroom tiles without her, because she was afraid that I would slip down

She even came home earlier so that she can give me a bath, well Skylar was officially the 'boss' and she took that opportunity to come home anytime she feels to

"Honey, are you sure you're only five months and half? Cause you're so big" The bright grey eyes girl soaped my back gently, started from my shoulder, slowly down to my lower back

"Are you telling me that I'm fat??" Tears threathing to fall, did I turn out ugly? What if she don't love me anymore and find another woman to replace me?

"What?? No! Oh god no! Yo're not fat! What I mean is, you look like you're more than five and half months, I started to wonder how big our baby is" rubbing my belly as she concluded

Skylar helped me stood up from the small tool chair so that she could reach every crook of my body easily

"Lee you've done so much for me and all I had ever done to you is...burdening you..." I sobbed as I gripped her shoulder to give me a better access of standing

A sigh of defeat escaped out of the girl below me who were concetrating on soaping my legs

"Elise...you're not burdening me..at all..you are my wife, my dear life who are carrying our baby....and I just do my duty as your wife..." gentle and dearly she rubbed my big belly, doing a few circle as she stared at it with a warm smile on her face

I was the luckiest person in the whole galaxy to have her by my side, I kept falling for her over and over again

"Lee...." I shook Skylar's forearm softly, she sound asleep behind me, taking me a few minutes to make decision wether  to wake her up or not

But I couldn't hold it anymore, I needed it now

"Lee wake up, you have to help me" Turned around facing her, then nudged her shoulder, she stirred lightly as she pulled me into her hug as if I was a bolster

"Wake up honey!" I whispered sternly while shooking her bicep, after about several seconds of good hits on her chest, her eyes finally fluttered open, looking at me anxious

"Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" Skylar put her palm on my belly and stroked it with her thumb

I grinned "I'm okay....but the baby is not okay..." A sad pout caught her attention, causing her to support her weight with her elbow then caressing my belly

"What do you mean??? Should we go to the hospital now????"

"No.....instead you should go to the convenience store and buy me ice-cream vanilla and pickles? I need them soooo bad that I couldn't sleep..pleaseeeeee" I battling my eyelashes to the smiling girl beside me

"Yeah yeah of course.....anything for my babies" She kissed my forehead, then heading to the closet to put on a jogger and a hoodie

"I'll be back" She convinced me as she opened the door

I nodded and said "drive safely okay? Thank you!" My wife chuckled then stepped out

"Your momma really take a good care your mommy aren't she?" A small smile curled up onto my lips as I stroking my belly

"I really really love your momma and of course same to you baby....I can't wait to hold you in my arms, kiss your head and play with your cute tiny fingers" looking dearly on my bump, then rested my figure against the headboard, waiting for my wife.....and my foods

"I'm back honey!" Skylar's voice muffled behind the door, opening it and she hovering me white plastic bag

"Thank you, now give me!" I said desperatedly as I held my hand up to reach the bag, quickly I took out the ice-cream cup, then took a pickle out of the jar and dipped it inside the vanilla

"How can you combine those two together and eat it like it's the best food in the world?" Skylar was in gimace as she gazed down at me enjoying the mouth-watering food

I simply shrugged off, gave my full attention on my ice-cream-vanilla-pickle

"You can eat that.....thing all night, while I'm here.... sleeping, good night...more like morning now....wake me up if you need anything else okay?" I nodded understand

"I-it's so heartbrokennn....Lee that shouldn't happen!" I pointed to the flat screen on the wall, we were watching 'Moana'  on the next morning

"Elise...it's just a 'cartoon', nothing really matter happen to them because they're not real" Skylar said flatly, emphatized the 'cartoon' word

"But he needs it to help Moana! You don't understand!" I cried uncontrollably on her shoulder as I ran my fingers through Mady's fur that sleeping on my lap

Skylar sighed exaggeratedly and threw her head on the sofa and hummed agreed to me

When the movie ended, we agreed to walk Mady at the park, as it was a good exercise for me

"Hold on buddy! Not too fast!" Skylar pulled the rope that attached to Mady who was barking excitedly, running on the pavement

Mady listened to my wife and slowed his pace, he was a smart dog, wrapping my arm around hers while she shoved her hand inside the jean pocket

"You guys are a cute little family" said an eldery woman walking passed by with her husband

"Thank you!" We smiled to them as I snuggled closer to my dear life, I looked up to Skylar and pushed my lips out

"Kiss" I demanded

She kissed me right away, then kissed the top of my head, looking at me lovingly

After 10 minutes of walking, I felt exhausted and my back was arching in pain "We need a break" I said breathless as I held my hand on my back

Luckily the bench wasn't to far, it took few steps to reach the bench, and those few steps felt like miles away, increasing the soar feeling on my legs

Skylar lifted up my legs on her lap and massaged them "All these walks must got your legs limp and pain in your back right?" I nodded

"How do you know?"

"Google duhhh" My wife rolled her eyes playfully while her hands knew exactly what they have got to do

I smiled brightly knowing that she understands me and cared about me

"Thank you" A sweet long kiss landed on her cheek as my hands were ontop of my belly "love you both"
