Chapter 31: IV - Kisaragi Village

I arrived at a little clearing and jumped down. I sat at the center and pulled out a scroll and spread it on the ground. I made some hand signs and slammed my right hand on the ground. The ground shook and exploded in front of me, after a while three big pillars of rock appeared.

I stood up and kicked the scroll to the side. I made some handsigns and breathed as I concentrated chakra at my hand. Soon, I can hear some cracking sounds at my hand. It elongated and turned into a sword. I stood in front of the three rocks and with one swift slash, the rocks was split into half. After a second, I’ve let go of the lightning sword and it disappeared. I shook my hand, still feeling the burn.

Well that sucks. I didn’t concentrate enough.

I made 5 clones of myself.

I’ll just fight myself. There’s no better enemy than yourself, right? You know your weakness yourself.

I gave the signal and my clones ran at me in full speed. I took a step back prepared myself. One of them jumped at me and aimed to kick me on the face. I caught it and used her weight, throwing her at the side. I felt something coming behind me so I jumped, putting chakra at my feet. I made hand signs while I was airborne and put my fist in front of my mouth.

“Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.”

I breathed and a large ball of fire came down at my clones. They were making a hand sign before they were covered by the fireball.

Suddenly I heard someone cry: “Water Release! Tearing Torrent!”

I covered my face as steam rose and enveloped me. A foot connected on my side and made me tumble to ground faster.

I groaned as I rolled over, kunais sinking to the ground at my position earlier. I jumped, doing a backflip and faced my clone. I panted, wiping my forehead of dirt. My head perked up when I felt a familiar chakra behind me. I looked back and I was right.

Kakashi-sensei was standing on a tree’s branch, holding his usual perverted book but his eyes were on me. I picked up the kunai close to me and spun, throwing the kunai at him which he easily caught with his fingers.

“So, Kakashi-sensei… I’m in the middle of training. What is it?” I asked. I released the clones I made earlier.

“Isn’t it better to train with a different person other than yourself?” Kakashi-sensei asked.

“Yes. Yes it is—Ah! You’re going to fight me?” I grinned.

He didn’t answer but he hid his book back on his pouch and shoved his hands on his pocket.

“What is your Nature Type?” He asked me.

“I have the four elements then I can do some Lightning Ninjutsus. I don’t use Earth Releases that much.” I told him thinking about the ninjutsus I’ve been using.

“I want to try something.” Kakashi-sensei said and pulled out a piece of paper and gave it to me. “Send some chakra into that paper.”

I nodded and did what Kakashi-sensei said. The paper disappeared into thin air in an instant. I shot Kakashi-sensei a confused look.

“As I thought. You and Kyo-san have the same Chakra Natures.”

“Yes. Of course, I’m his daughter.”

“No. You don’t get it. Kyo-san did ninjutsus that you don’t even know yet. I see him do it when I was still Anbu and when I am assigned to missions with him. I’ll help you learn that.”

Third Person’s POV

“So that’s why you know my father. You were previous teammates.” Nami said, putting her fist on her palm.

“So then.. Shall we begin?” Kakashi asked, sweatdropping at his student. Nami had made a defensive position in front of Kakashi.

On the otherhand, the other three were left in the house.

“Will Nami-chan be okay?” Sakura asked, looking outside.

“Of course she is…?” Naruto answered but it ended up like a question. He leaned his chin on his hands.

“Didn’t you see the look on her face earlier before she went out? She looked excited. She’ll be fine.” Sasuke said and stood up, walking towards the door outside.

“Where will you go, Sasuke-kun?” Sakura asked.

“I’m going around the village for a bit.” Sasuke answered, not even looking back when he answered.

The pink head looked at Naruto who was now asleep on the table, his saliva pouring down from his mouth. Nerves popped out of Sakura’s head as she slammed her fist on the sleeping blonde.

“Don’t sleep in the table, you idiot! Let’s go with Sasuke and look for Nami.” Sakura pulled the dazed Naruto with her and ran at Sasuke.

The three walked around the village looking for anything weird.                The village was little compared to Konoha. There was a place for the villagers, a space for the training grounds, a space for a field, a space for the lake. The village was really divided by their own sections. There is even a part where guests will stay, that‘s where they are sleeping right now. A barbed-gate surrounded the village.

The villagers greeted them and they greeted back. They noticed the wary look the villagers were wearing after they passed. The adults hid their panicked expressions but it can be seen on their eyes while the children were as innocent as ever, playing around their house like nothing is wrong.

“Heh. It’s good to be a child. They don’t know the problem happening around them.” Naruto scoffed, putting his hands behind his head as they walked.

They turned to a corner but they were met by a familiar person who was walking towards the direction they came from.

“Oh. You guys.” Sho greeted. “What are you doing out here?”

“Ah. Sho-san. We’re walking around the village to see if anything is weird. And Kakashi-sensei and Nami-chan is missing.” Sakura answered.

A head peeped out from behind Sho.

“Eh? Where did Nami-chan go?” Mami asked. “Oh! Hi. I’m Mami. You’re Sakura-chan, right?”

Sakura nodded and smiled. She knew Mami from the first time they saw her. “Nami-chan went for a walk and we thought we can see her if we walk around here.”

As if on cue, something exploded on the West part of the village. After some seconds, black smoke came billowing out from that direction like there was some major fire going there.

“What happened?!” Sho shouted, running towards there. Mami, Chii and the rest of Team seven followed.
