-You go to a game and you meet him after-
Your POV

I looked at my phone and texted my best friend to come pick me up from the airport of Toronto. I had just entered the country and wanted to get to my new temporary home as soon as possible. I decided to move here for my job, and I was glad I had a friend and a few family members here so I wouldn't be alone. I just hope this move would be worth it.

"Hey put on your Matthews jersey, we are going to their game tonight!" My best friend, (Bf/n), told me and I smiled and ran to my room to get ready. I put on his jersey that I brought a while ago and some black jeans and fixed up my hair and makeup and went out to go.

This was my first Toronto game in real life, up close. I was so excited I couldn't stop smiling in my seat in her car as we drove there.

"Chill out. I know you will see your dream boy but chill," she said and I scoffed. "Whatever, it's not like he will notice me anyway. I'm just happy to finally go to a game." She hummed in response as we pulled into the crowded parking lot of the famous rink.

As we sat down and got comfortable I realized we were right behind the Maple Leafs bench and I started to get nervous. I thought of the possibilities of Auston Matthews noticing me, but also getting hit with a puck that could easily fly at my direction. I shook off the feeling as I saw the team get onto the ice and head over where we sat. I saw Auston smiling to Mitch and I bit my lip in anxiousness. I just couldn't wait for the game to start.

In the second period I couldn't help but stare at him and he turned around and smiled at me and my heart skipped a beat. He nudged another guy and they both looked at me and I blushed and scratched my arm and smiled. They both talked quickly before going back out to play.

"Did he just stare at you and tell his friend?!" (Bf/n) asked and started laughing. "Shut up! I don't know!" "He likes you (Y/n)!" I rolled my eyes but in my heart I wanted it to be true.

At the end of the game I was called over by a security guard and he told me to go with him. I was wondering what was going on but he led me to the Leafs locker room and Auston walked out with a smile. "Um hi. I'm Auston. I couldn't help but notice you and I just wanted to know your name," he said sweetly and I stood there in shock.

"I'm (Y/n). Nice to meet you. I'm a big fan," I said and shook his hand. "That's a pretty name. Could I maybe get your number and we can hang out sometime?" He asked and pulled his bag on his shoulder tighter.

"Sure." I hoped this would lead to a future relationship.

And it did, and it was great.
