You can skip if you want. But this is something I really love and would appreciate if you took your time reading about me fangirling.
But I've gotten really into BTS, a South Korean, K-Pop group. And I've been an ARMY for about 10 months! It feels like yesterday I just knew about them.

(Left to Right) V- vocalist Suga- Lead Rapper Jin- vocalist, visual, oldest in the group Jungkook- Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Sub Rapper, Visual, and youngest in the group. RM- Main Rapper, Leader of the Group Jimin- Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer J-Hope- Lead Rapper, Main Dancer.
But even tho it says the two of them are visuals, to me and all armys all of them are.
Here are their real names, (going from oldest to youngest) Jin - Kim Seokjin Suga/Agust D - Min Yoongi J-Hope - Jung Hoseok RM (his old stage name use to be Rap Monster but changed it in November of 2017) - Kim Namjoon Jimin - Park Jimin V - Kim Taehyung Jungkook - Jeon Jeongguk but some people call him Jeon Jungkook, I think it's because they sound similar but either way his real name is the first one.
Really suggest watching their music videos, and some of their solo projects. Like Suga, has another stage name, Agust D and has a mixtape out, and RM has a mixtape out too, we're just waiting for J-Hope's now. And the vocalist have covers out. Like Jungkook and Jimin sang "We Don't Talk Anymore" cover.

All you have to do is search is BTS and their MVs show ups like "DNA" , "Mic Drop" (Steve Aoki remix) , and "Save Me"
If somehow you do become part of ARMYS just know that we support ALL the boys but it's also okay to have a bias. Bias is someone in any k-pop group that's like your favorite (didn't explain it well so search it up) and a bias wrecker is basically what is says. The thing is you don't chose your bias, your bias chooses you.
But we don't support armys who bring other members down to bring their bias up. Some apologize and we forgive them.
Just know that Army isn't just a fandom name, it's a family. I've met Armys who are the nicest people ever. And we accept anyone of any age, race, religion, or country. I'm not saying all Armys are angels but the ones I've talked to and interact with are so nice. The majority are very caring people.
We don't care if your only a week or 2 years of being an Army, all we care about is that if your gonna stay for the future.
I'm gonna put a video here of the History of BTS if your new to the fandom, so you get more reasons of why we are so protective of the boys. And this is not to offend other K-Pop groups this happened in the past but there are still a few fan wars. But I just hope we can stop fan wars, because I love many groups, BTS just happened to be my bias group.
