Chapter 17-She's Awake!

One month.12 days.9 hours.35 minutes.Riley has been in a coma for that long.

Niall hasn't been eating for a few days now.He loves food,and when he doesn't eat,it's something.I finally understood why Niley is important.Niall+Riley=Niley.Get it?They're cute together though.Riley,wake up goddamnit!

Anyway,we're back at the hospital room 37.We gathered up to wait for a miracle.Today is her birthday.

Harry,Niall,Louis and Eleanor,Zayn and his girlfriend Perrie,Liam and Chelsea,Mr. and Mrs. Frost and Ashton,who is actually Riley's second cousin,came too.

The doctor told us the news."I'm really sorry everyone.We have to unplug the life support,as we can't really keep her long,as there are more patients who need treatment in this rather small hospital."

"We-we understand."Mr. Frost said,nodding.

"Anything for our daughter."Did I mention Rachel and Rina were there too?

"Here we go."Dr. Johnsons said.

Just like that,they did it.They've unplugged her life support.We waited with bated breath for what could be hours,but is only a few minutes.C'mon Riley.You can do this.We would lose someone dear if you went.Don't go.

I saw it.Riley's eyes fluttered for a second.Then,she blinked.Her eyes went round as she saw us all peering at her."Whoa-What?Oh hey.You guys here to wake me up?"Oh Riley.....

"Let's have a celebration,a celebration,the music up the windows down."Zayn sang as he helped decorate the cake.We're throwing a "Birthday/She's Awake" party at Riley's house.Harry and I were baking a second batch of cupcakes.Harry rested his head on my shoulder from behind me and helped me crack the eggs.

The party's not much...just Riley,me,Harry,Niall,Louis and Eleanor,Liam and Chelsea,Zayn and Perrie.We ate large boxes of pizza,some Coke,chips,grilled cheese sandwiches,the cupcakes and the birthday cake.

It was pretty normal....until someone decided to crash our party.

We were in the middle of a game of Cluedo,when the doorbell rang."I'll get it!!!"Riley ran to the door.

"You're expecting someone?"Niall asked.

"Nope!"Riley opened the door."Oh..."We heard a very familiar voice,someone I really kinda hate.

"Riley!!Oh my gosh,you've lost sooooo much weight!Daarling,I came all the way to celebrate!!"Kate said,walking into the house.

"Um,I'm sorry Kate,but no sluts allowed."Sassy Louis said.

"Then what's she doing here?"Kate pointed at me.

Before I could say a word,Harry said,"Lay off her,Kate."

"Oh,sticking up for her,hm Harry?Remember when we were fuck buddies?What happened?You-"

"Kate,can you please get out of my house?"Riley said.

"Oh,you can't really want to kick me out?I came all the way!"Kate protested.

"Kate,what is your problem?!You're ruining our goddamn party!Just get out!!Leave now!"Surprisingly,Niall said it.Niall's always known to be the calm and okay guy....

"Aw geez,loosen up,Lover Boy!Hey,I'm happy your girl is alive,but there's no need to get worked up about it!"

That comment shut Niall up."Kate,what do you want?"I asked her.She flipped her hair and said the most ridiculous answer ever.

"Oh,I'm here to celebrate with you guys!"Kate smiled so sweetly,it hurts.

"Um,you're not invited."Chelsea said,coming out of the kitchen with Liam.

"Says who?"Kate narrowed her eyes at Chelsea.

"Says me."Riley said.

"Can't I stay?30 minutes,I promise!Or someone will be a victim of....gossip."Kate said,staring right at me.I shifted in my seat uncomfortably.Harry took my hand in his and squeezed it lightly.

"You can't threaten us!"Zayn said,with Perrie handing him a drink.

"Oh well,the slut better know how to handle all the verbal abuse then."She walked a few steps.

"Urgh!Fine,you stupid bitch.But swear you'll not ruin the party."Riley groaned.

"Aw,okay!"

The next 15 minutes of Truth or Dare is agonizing.She's always whining and complaining and saying that she's the only girl with no boy,no one to kiss,no one to make out with.But only when she suggested we play Spin the Bottle did something interesting happen.

"Well okay,this is soooo boring!Let's play something better!How about.....Spin the Bottle?"She suggested.

"Ugh,fine,it's fun anyway."Eleanor said,giggling as Louis plays with her hair.

"Alright who starts first?"Perrie asked.

"Niall!You spin!"Zayn nudged Niall.Niall spun the bottle and it landed on Perrie.

"Uh-oh....hehe sorry Zayn!"Niall said.

After 7 minutes,Perrie and Niall came out."Alright!Who's next?"Kate grinned.

A few spins later......

"Kate!You're up!"She spun the bottle and it landed on.....Harry.Uh oh.

"Well then....let's go Harry."Kate smirked.I have a really bad feeling about this.

I watched them go."Um....Amanda?"Eleanor asked me.

"Huh?"

"You're letting your man go with the slut of Paddington High?!"Perrie said,livid.

"Well.....yeah."I shrugged,although my brain yells at me.Chelsea shakes her head.

"Do you really think that he's resisting that slut?They're probably fucking right now!"Zayn scoffs.

"What-"

"Darling,I think Zayn's right.Harry isn't really known for his loyalty,you know...."Eleanor said.

"Alright fine!"But he loves you,why would he wanna have Kate if he has you?The nicer part of me says.Bullshit.He's a manwhore!He only wants sex!

I walked to the door of the room where they were.I slowly opened the door.

I walked right in to see Kate kneeling in front of Harry.And Harry groaning.
