Fights&Apologies

I'm shocked. I don't know what to do. He just kissed me. I see Jack running towards us.

Dang. He saw Luke kiss me. It probably didn't look like that.

"Jack!" I yelled.

"Save it." He says. "I saw it."

"Jack! He kissed me! I don't like him." I couldn't tell whether he was more mad at me or Luke. He looked like he wanted to punch Luke.

"Bro, Jack. It's my fault. Don't get mad at her." Luke says. "I'm sorry man, but chill I mean who cares it was a small kiss?"

"A small kiss? It's my girlfriend. Not yours." Jack says. I sit down on the bench not sure what to do.

"Bro, calm down, you've been dating for like a week, and it's not like I really enjoyed the kiss." Luke says. I'm a bit offended.

Jack punches Luke. I back up. I never knew Jack would do that. Should I get a counselor? Luke gets up.

"Whoa." He says.

Jack looks like he just kicked a puppy. I can tell he feels bad, for knocking Luke to the ground. Luke kind of deserved it. "I'm...I'm sorry" He stutters. I walk up to Jack.

Luke walks away, "It's cool. I deserved it."

"So do you forgive me?" I ask.

"Sure." He says. He's lying, I can tell.

"Thanks for being protective." I say. I mean it. I like him being protective.

"I just punched my best friend."

"He deserved it though. It's fine." I kiss him.

"Yeah, but still." I can tell he's upset.

"Sorry, it's all kind of my fault."

"No it's not. You're fine, beautiful."

"No, it's my fault."

"I love you." He says.

What?!? Did I hear that right? I love you.

He responds before I can, "I mean I've never felt this way about a girl. Ever. And I don't want to lose you, I don't want to think about losing you. I want you."
