You sat awkwardly now beside Ben and Richie, as the three to the other side looked around awkwardly.
"Pass"Richie said reaching across you as he grabbed the book meeting your eyes
He shook his head slightly as he flipped through pages of Ben's information.
"Whys it all murders and missing kids"He asked
"Derry's not like any town I've ever been in before, (Y/N) knows, I did a study once with her and it turns out people die or disappear at six times the national average."Ben looked around as you nodded
Richie seemed shocked beside you like everyone else but also a bit....jealous?
"You read all that?"Bev gasped
"And that's just grown ups, the kids are worse"Ben sighed, "way, way worse"
"I've got more if you wanna see it?"Ben smiled
"No no no"Eddie whispered nervously
But you still all rode bikes to Ben's house.
You walked in snickering as he puffed knowing what he hid.
"WOW"Richie yelled
"Cool huh?"Ben asked
"No, no nothing cool there's nothing cool"Richie walked around, "ooo wait this is cool over here oh wait no, no it's not it's not cool"
"What's that?"Stan asked
"Oh that's the charter for the Derry town ship"Ben said
"Nerd alert"Richie laughed to himself
"No actually it's-it's really interesting, Derry started as a shop in-"
"STILL IS AMIRITE BOYS?"Richie went to high-five Eddie and Stan who shook their heads
"91 people signed the charter that made Derry but later that winter they all disappeared without a trace"Ben mumbled
"The entire camp?"Eddie gasped
"There were rumours of Indians but no sign of an attack, everybody just thought it was a plague or something but it's like one day everybody just woke up and left...the only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house"Ben pointed out
"Jesus that's a really big unsolved mystery"
You stood still as the boys bickered beside you, not about the mysteries but about Ben.
"I don't know maybe his just trying to make some friends Stan"
"W-W-Where was the well house?"Bill asked
"I don't know somewhere in town I guess?"Ben guessed, "why?"
"Nothing."
